Dibbs Farms Pure Zoysia Grass Seeds - 1 Lb.

Bought this for my mother's yard in Lakeland FL after years of fighting weeds. After a week of germination in large trays lined with wet paper towels, the seeds were spread throughout the back yard. Three months later, they are already taking over from the weeds. Requires less water and looks great. If it keeps spreading at this rate, I should be weed free by the end of the Summer.

Do not waste your time or money. After 2 months of setting the seeds, I called customer service to understand if 'no growth' was normal. The customer service rep stated the seeds would need 2-3 months for results. Well its been 3 months and we are at the beginning of summer...no new seedlings from this product. Disappointment is an understatement considering the initial excitement of purchcasing Zoysia grass.

I was skeptical at first being an ol zoysia plugger, but I was very surprised at how well the seed germinated and took off much faster than plugs would have. I have a full thick zoysia lawn in phx az that's green all summer !!

will only rate 3 because i planted seed 2 weeks ago do not know if they will germinate (February 1st 2019)...Just an update almost 1 month and 1/2 since trying to grow the zoysia with no sucess so lowering from 3 to a 2 star I'll keep updating (March 7th 2019)

Years ago I used Dibbs zoysia in Plymouth Mass. and it took over the yard. Yard was like walking on a carpet. Now in Florida put down some Dibbs zoysia and within a week grass started coming up. I ordered my second pound and can't wait till I get it.
