Great sound

I cant get over how good this things sounds. I have a 2017 Silverado 6.2 I kept the 3rd cat and resonator. I just replaced the muffler and it has a very deep rumble, no drone and if very quite on the highway 100/100 its perfect!!

I think its perfect. Very aggressive, loud but not to loud. When you get on it you know it's there but quiet when your cruising on the freeway. I left the resonator on and just did the muffler swap and added a chrome tip. I do hear a little baffling but i can't tell if it's the tip or resonator. All in all a great product and a great sound.

I am in love. The XR1 sounds amazing. After reading review after review from every manufacturer under the sun, I finally settled on the XR1 for my ‘07 Esky 6.2. I left stock exhaust manifolds, resonators and cars. Just added the muffler. Shop charged me eighty bucks to “Zeus” it into place and I was on my way. It’s the perfect LS 6.2 sound.

Does NOT directly fit a 2016 Chevy Silverado 2500 with the 6.0. New muffler was shorter than the stock. Had to add two 90 degree elbows

Great exhaust for the money! Looks good sounds good great rumble that's not horribly loud on my truck 2007 GMC Sierra Denali 6.2L V8. Only complaint is I wish it was made to be clamped on had to customize a little bit to make work other wise awesome muffler!

Borla is a huge name in SS exhaust systems, so I paid the extra money for the Borla 40086 XR-1 Round Stainless muffler. It lasted 1 year and three months and the guts of it are rattling so bad it is embarrassing, especially under mid or full throttle. What a disappointment, I really expected so much more from Borla. I guess I will have to go back to non SS flow masters that lasted at least 3 to 4 years.

My son wanted this for his 2019 Dodge Ram 2500. He wanted his truck to sound louder . This muffler did just that, but it’s not crazy wake up the neighbor loud. It has a beautiful rumble like my old corvette. Love the way his truck sounds!
