Would not have bought if realised what let-down this proved to be
Disappointing as only contains regurgitated episodes of Mrs B's Boys 1-7 and Series 1-3. Omitting "Higgley" and Sharon and Cornelius from this and Series 1-3 big mistake. The replacement Betty has an absolutely dreadful voice, she whines with a terrible "twang" and most of what she says completely indecipherable. Why was the other Betty replaced with this useless actress - she couldn't act her way out of a carrier bag, she's hopeless - and I'm not alone in this opinion, many people agree. "If it ain't broke don't fix it" - the former Betty was good actress, could hear everything she said and didn't have the arrogance and "cardboard" acting of new one. Maria, on the other hand, is fantastic in her role as Dermot's wife - perhaps "Betty" should have a few lessons from her on how to act and speak - I think enunciate and pronounce should be explained to "Betty" before she spoils another series.

Never thought I would like the series but watched 20 ministers of one episode and ended up buying all the DVDs, the live performances may be on the same material as the TV series but it’s the adlibs which add extra comedy well worth the purchase

Totally hilarious!
Brendan O'Carroll does it again. Mrs Brown will have you howelling with laughter. A play that is a cross between Father Ted, Fawlty Towers & Bread. Have seen this live & dvd brings back memories of stitches in my side, tears of laughter & gasping for breath as the visual & verbal jokes kept me 'rolling in the aisle'.

Brilliant
I have never been to alive show having only watched the tv ones. I am so glad I bought it. It is ruder than the TV one so if you are a little prudish t perhaps isn't for you. It was so very funny I couldn't stop laughing. I hope I get to see a live show sometime
