I gave this two stars only because it is pretty and I am weak and it did look good on me. Emphasis on the DID. THIS TOP IS THE DEFINITION OF FRAIL. Due to the reviews, I knew what I was getting myself into. Therefore, at the beginning of the night, I was fully prepared. Everything was taped, and I MEAN EVERYTHING. Kim Kardashian was quaking. Early on my hopes were very high. Everything was seemingly in place but thirty minutes in I was DEAD wrong. The first breakage of the night happened. The first break was just a quick fix and I was able to reattach the clasp of the chain. That was the first of many breaks. THE SHIRT BROKE FOUR MORE TIMES THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT. And I was not going hard. The top LITERALLY began to FALL APART AT THE CORNERS. I went in knowing that this was my riskiest Amazon purchase to date. But I was shocked at how much it broke! If you plan on wearing this and taping it to your body and not moving a literal muscle... I reccomened it. If you plan on slightly moving at all. DO NOT PURCHASE! Pretty sad about this because it was such a cute top and I really had high hopes. I would try again and I would maybe sew or glue fabric to the back of it?? Not sure if that would work but I hope it would because it was such a cute top.

Bought this top for a festival. Tried it on and it fits perfectly! It needs to be stored carefully as it is quite delicate. I'm happy it came with an extra chain and set of lobster clasps because it's possible that if you're not gentle, it could be broken quite easily and you could be faced with a wardrobe malfunction.... I will post an update after I put it through the test of wearing to Burning Man

This is one sassy little top and I love it! It arrived as promised (thank you) - I ordered it overnight delivery for an event and it was right on time. It fits great, feels great, looks great. I'm 5'1, 106 pounds, 34D and it fit perfectly. The back is completely open (pretty) except for the little chain. The chains ARE a little tricky but get those hooked up and it is a very fun, little top. I hope it'll hold up for more special occasions. Would like to order in lavender also. I'm pleased with the purchase!

Really cute but...will absolutely 100% break instantly and expose your whole chest to the world. The first night I wore it broke 4 times, by the end of the night it was being held together by paper clips. If you're crafty enough, I would suggest sewing a lining in and getting new straps. For the price Im not too mad about it.

If I could give this product 0 stars, I would. I opened the package, up it on, clipped it, and the two chains pulled right out of the shirt. I didn't even have it for 5 minutes before it broke.

So it literally just comes as a square piece of favorite with 1 little chain which was barely long enough to go around me neck......had to engineer my own thing to hook it around my waste. I'd return it but it broke while dancing one night into peices! I was unable to gather it all back. Left me fully exposed! Had to have a friend buy me a shirt while I waited in bathroom. Horrible experience.

In reading other posts, some purchases came with extra chains, mine did not. In fact, shortly after wearing the item the chain tarnished.

Worked well for a costume, but was neither sturdy nor comfortable.
