Very good product
Honestly this is an amazing product. Very cheap, very easy to assemble and setup on a door frame. I’ve been using it for years now, and haven’t damaged a single door frame, and the bar is still in very good condition. One small thing I would say is that the foam to place your hands isn’t in an optimal position if you want to do wide-ish pull ups, but you can still do them on the part without foam.

Easy to use, feels cheap.
This chin up bar does what it says on the tin. It holds my weight at 10 stone without any problems but it does require a strong door frame for use. When in use, you can see the door frame bending but so far, they’re all still in place. The bar is easy to put together and set up but feels very basic, cheap and flimsy. This isn’t so much an issue though as it holds up and does the job it was designed for just fine.It should fit any ordinary doorway but you well need to ensure you have space either side of the door and the bar does overhang the frame width ways.

Decent budget bar for small/corner doors
I was originally going for a different type of pull up bar from Magnoos, but unfortunately the only door in my flat that could fit a bar is a smaller door in the corner of the apartment, with little space to each site. The dimensions of my door were 66 cm wide and 15 cm deep, with the frame on each side measuring 7.5 cm and the space from end of frame to the wall another 9cm. For these dimensions, the bar fits very well. There are three adjustment options for different depths of the door, and the middle one seems to fit 15 cm perfectly.Setup was relatively easy. I guess I was one of the luckier ones, as all parts were complete and nothing was missing. You connect the different pipe parts with rubber connectors or stick them into each other, plug in the screws and tighten. All needed tools are included, however, they are a bit flimsy to work with. I was suprised that the feather rings for screws looked bent, but apparently that intentional to provide tension - they will flatten as you tighten the screws. The bar fit the door well, and doesnt move. It seems to hold my weight (89 kg), but I havent tried out extensive training with it yet. Do I fully trust it and feel completey safe? No, I cant say that. Do I have any signs that it will collapse? Also no. It does seem to bend a little at times, and give some sounds, but I guess that can be expected. I also have no experience with these bars, so its new to me. Overall, I feel a bit uneasy, but I expected worse. One thing that I would recommend is that, ifyou expect yourself to use the wide grip (horizontal bar) most frequently, you should probably attach the horizontal bar ON TOP of the two vertical bars, and NOT BELOW (as shown in the picture here on Amazon). I tried out both versions, and this did increase the sturdiness of the construction and caused the horizontal bar to bend less - if you expect yourself to do more of the opposed grip, I would leave it as this (i.e. horizontal bar UNDER the two vertical bars).

Cheap, sturdy, effective
Excellent exercise combo bar. Lightweight, small/compact but sturdy.Assembly involves installing 6 bolts using the provided closed hex keys and Allen key (work well)One of the bolts is riveted so difficult to tighten this may be on purpose as it's against the plastic door frame portion. It comes with a "saftey wedge". The pointed end of this is wedged between the door frame and wall above the door. In this configuration it will hold the plastic portion against the wall. Unfortunately this is difficult to explain and the manual makes almost no attempt to do so!For it's price range it works happily, so far it has not damaged my door frame and the bar is holding up against my weight. (Max is listed in the manual as 100kg).Down on the floor it makes a decent platform for push ups, (lets you mix up hand grips and depth), works well for tricept dips too.I haven't done many situps but it seems to be holding up for that too.

Sturdier than I expected and useful but leaves a mark on the walls
NEGATIVES/CAVEATS- I find this product very useful, but I only weigh 65kg and the weight limit is 100kg. Also, weight limits can be lower than this depending on the strength of your door frames- The door frame needs to have an overhang at the top (i.e. extend away from the wall) so that the pull up bar can hook/clip on - as seen in the seller’s images. Just make sure the door frame measurements are equal to or larger than the measurements labelled in the seller’s images.- Like most pull up bars it leaves a grey/black mark on white door frames and an indent. So maybe avoid if you plan on selling your house soon.POSITIVES+ This item does not need permanent fixing and can be set-up and removed very easily (once the initial bolting and assembling process is completed, which only takes a few minutes) just by literally lifting it at an angle – although it is not as easy to transport given its slightly awkward fixed shape.+ The bar also fixes very snug on various door widths, which leads to less energy wasted in stabilising when performing a pull-up so you can churn out more reps.+ Also, useful at encouraging you to do 10 reps or so, every time you pass through the doorway.+ Also, very useful for increasing the range of movement when doing push-ups+ Various grips: (wide/narrow), (palms facing towards/90 degrees/away from the wall)If you found this review helpful, please do rate it as helpful – really helps me out!

Fab pull up bar
Easy to assemble, robust, the retainer clip is simple and effective, and slots it so doesn’t need to be fixed to any particular door. Just check whicb door frames are strong enough before buying

Didn’t come with screws
I’m sure it’d be a very sturdy pull up bar if it came with the tools necessary to put it together..

Removable
Fairly easy to put together with clear enough instructions. Can be hung above the door and then removed without cluttering the house. Just check your door is strong enough.
