Classic Pink Cotton Candy 3 pack – Unique Idea for Holidays, Birthdays, Gag Gifts, Party Favors

I received this today. I took the lid off, leery of the reviews I read and the pics I saw. So I plaintively took a bite. It really wasn't bad. I have found leave the lid off, and let odor dissipate some, not bad flavored then.

The flavor of this ranch cotton candy was one of the worst things I’ve ever tasted. My daughter got this as a joke for my son, and I don’t know what I expected it to taste like, but it was like licking unwashed feet coated in saccharine, onion powder and sadness. The taste lingered for hours, haunting my senses, and no amount of cookie eating, tongue scrubbing, or toothbrushing could eliminate the putrid stench from my palate. I wouldn’t wish this snack on my worst enemies, let alone my family.

Great for the novelty and a gag but was not tasty at all lol. The look on my sister in laws face was totally with it lol

My little nephew has aquired a love for spicy foods, which is AMAZING to me because just a few years ago he would only eat a few food items and even had Food Therapy! I had introduced him to Takis during my last visit, and he has branched out from there. If anything looks like it has the word Jalapeno on it, he gets excited and wants to try it. So I had bought this cotton candy at Five Below and tried it, and talked to him about how my tongue was burning after trying just a little bit (and then I had some more, lol). He ended the conversation saying that he wished he could try it. Since we live half a country apart, I took to Amazon, and there it was! It was the same size and about the same price - perfect! I added it to his birthday gifts and sent them to his mom to wrap. He thought it taste AMAZING! He didn't say that he needed any milk, but by now he is becoming a jalapeno-flavored food-eating pro. His old Aunt, on the other hand, can only handle it one piece at a time. But if this is your thing, make sure to grab some!

I bought this without reading the reviews — what a huge mistake. They aren’t exaggerating. This is really shameful — I can’t believe this company is actually selling this crap and getting away with it. Hey Chocolate Storybook or Fairy Tale Cotton Candy or whatever your name is now, maybe your product isn’t something that should be shipped. Maybe it’s just best bought locally. If you can’t stand by your product and guarantee that it will survive shipping and be edible when it arrives, then have some decency and either stop shipping it or offer refunds. What a scam. I also can’t believe I have to give them 1 star. There is nothing about this product that deserves even one star.
