Medelita Women's Ellody Petite Slim Fit M3 White Lab Coat Professional fit with Performance Fabric

I am a petite medical professional (5'3" and about 100lbs) and I have had a lot of difficulty finding a jacket which fits properly. I ordered the 00p size and this fit very well and the material is a high quality.

I determined my size based on the size chart in the product description and on the Medelita website, then ordered 1 size down. When the lab coats arrived, the coats were still incredibly baggy - two sizes too large. I understand that vanity sizing is a common practice, but the size charts should be accurate. To have the size charts be 3 full sizes off the actual size is unacceptable. When I contacted Medelita about the return, they informed me that I was still responsible for the return shipping, despite their size charts being extremely inaccurate.Next time, I'll try eeny, meeny, miny, moe to determine my Medelita size-- I'll be better off than I would be using their size charts!

The fabric is wonderful, but the petite cut didn't fit my 5'2" frame. The shoulder size seemed okay, but it was bulky on me and way too long in length and the arms. There was not option for a shorter length. I would recommend this to a very tall person, but not to anyone short like me. I'm disappointed the petite really isn't a petite cut.

Fits as described. The material has a great feel to it. Nothing excellent beyond it's advertised description but overall satisfied with the product.

I’ve bought 3 of these over the past 8 years. Fit me perfectly. So sad that it seems to be discontinued.

(My husband and I share an Amazon account so know that this is a female speaking, ha.)SHORT ANSWER: Excellent for medical professionals where you don't move much (sit, stand, little arm movement, etc). Horrible for dental professionals where there is a lot of spray, bending over, arm movements where you're reaching reaching above or behind you, etc.LONG ANSWER: My husband and I are dentists in our own practice and have loved the previous dental-specific coat that Medelita used to offer (snap buttons, the ability to close the neck to protect from spray, knitted cuffs that hug your wrists, etc). It was time for new coats and, although the dental coats were no longer in production, we decided to buy them anyway because no other coat on the market performs or looks as nice. While this coat (and the men's coat my husband got) looks very nice and is flattering (even on a 5'2" petite), unfortunately we found that they're horrible for working in a clinical dental situation. The regular cuffs catch on handpieces/instruments not to mention let in open spray, we can't cover our neck anymore, and somehow there is NO ROOM for stretching your arms forward or behind your head (i.e. tightening you loupes). If our job involved standing and sitting with minimal body movement, they're lovely -- but that is not the job of a clinical dentist.NOTE: My husband and I left similar reviews on their website and, while Medelita's customer service is outstanding and reached out to us to express their apologies, they did not post the reviews. Unfortunately this is a disservice to other clinical dental professionals so hence we're leaving this review on Amazon.

Petite. I am 5'4'. My petite lab coat sleeves need to be hemmed up 1.5 inch. And the breast pocket is too low, not at all as pictured on the model. Disappointed with their petite version.

I'm 5' tall and this petite lab coat fit perfectly! I've always wanted a slim fit white coat with sleeves that actually matched my arm length, and this coat fit the bill. The material is thick and sturdy and the fit is feminine while still being professional. I am so happy with this petite slim fit coat and would recommend it to any other petite ladies out there in the medical profession!
