I have this installed in my car and I’ve gotta say, it works as advertised. The unit kicks on when I start the car and changes with the air quality. I smoke cigars in my car and I can comfortably drive with my windows most of the way up without filling the car with smoke. The car’s power outlet will stay on for a few minutes after I leave the car so the unit will continue to work. When I come back, I don’t smell any smoke at all! The only con I could think of is that it gets a bit noisy when it has to filter the smoke. But that’s ok because you know it’s working. One thing to keep in mind is to keep the bottom of the unit clear. The air gets pulled in from below so be sure to not block it. Other than that, it’s a solid unit with great filter quality and I hope it lasts.

Update- the supplier reached out and sent a filter, thank you. Excellent customer support. We installed this to the window and although it appears to work, giving it two stars. It is sleek in appearance but with the cost of this unit, we expected more. It only came with one filter for the initial use, drawback number one. Second, is it’s loud, third reason is the window sucker arm is not strong enough on its own to keep upright and falls. No matter how we tried to tighten the arm, it will not stay where we wanted it. It only comes with one sucker arm on one side and should come with one on each side to balance and handle the weight/bounce of the vehicle movement. It does contain other options for install but our primary reason for the placement in the window was to capture the incoming air flow from the vents. Depending upon your own expectations and placement, this might not be as big of a drawback as we found it to be.

Got this for new car smell and chemicals that give me migraines. It’s completely useless. I am no stranger to air purifiers as I have chronic migraine from fragrances. Air purifiers are supposed to actually suck in and circulate air. This does not. On the highest setting you can barely feel a thing. It didn’t do anything inside my car. Overpriced garbage.

ive have had this in my car, for 3-4 months now, i like if, i have it on auto, sometimes, you can see sometimes it will kick up and run at higher levels, but tonight, i was driving home, (and it was in the country) and i could smell, a real sweet smell, maybe a burning wood, i dont know, the filter is on the dash, so i see it, and right after i smelt the sweet smell, the filter, kicked into high, and the led lights went to all red, and filter kicked into high, then went back to green, when the smell went away, about 4-5 miles away, all the lights went to yellow, and it went to high again. i have allergies, and raspatory issues, seeing it work tonight when the air quality, was poor, impressed me, i didnt dislike the smell, when it turned red, but the unit did seem to work very well. we havent had bad smoke this year from forest fires, but would like to see how it works when it is smokey.

Love this air purifier. It is sleek and efficient. Also it does shut off after the car is off automatically. One other reviewer posted that detail incorrectly. You just have to be patient and it is not instant.

I want it to run on max setting all the time, but when I take it off “auto” mode and turn it all the way up, it turns itself off after a few seconds. Luckily, if I do that 2 or 3 times, it will finally stay, but it is very annoying. At some point, I’ll try to find a better one.

Court doesn't like to stay plugged in. Had it replaced, problem is not as bad, but it still comes undone.

Been using the Car Air Purifier for over 2 months, I love it, it's a great investment for both your health and even for keeping your car cleaner from dust and other particles. Its quiet, durable, and easy to set up. Highly recommend it!

I have been using this product now for one month, but I didn’t notice any difference and if there is a smell in the car, it will not remove the smell so it’s useless and expensive from my opinion. It’s a waste of money.
