Cordyceps (Cordyceps militaris) Liquid Culture 20mL | Spawn Mycology

so far so good, i was able to successfully inoculate 2 bags of grain spawn that i will be attempting to establish with warmer weather. no indication on the purity of the culture such as actual production of morels as desired instead of some other fungus, but no signs of contamination (such as discoloration or other signs of harmful mold or bacteria growth) are present in the grain spawn

Seller included 2 $1 bills as a rebate for giving them a shot bc they're a new Amazon seller without many reviews. Definitely a first! The LC came quickly and looked nice and clean and clear besides the healthy mycelium floating about. I'm actually using it to create more LC in a quart jar of nutrient solution to then innoculate quart jars of grain spawn. Probably attempt to expand it again so I have a nice stock of LC to keep in the fridge. Hopefully it'll work out! I'm actually very new to the mycology thing. Have already gotten about 6 3lb bags of Shitake that are in various stages of late growth and 10 6lb (overshot by a bit and was going for 5lb🤪) bags of Shitake 3690 that are just myceliating. Trying to get a small side business of selling fruiting blocks and logs locally. Oh, also have 9 10" by 4.5' logs of Shitake and have several other varieties and enough Shitake spawn to do about 40 more logs! Anyway, I'll update this review as this LC of Lion's Mane develops along. Was already happy with the price as it was about the lowest I've seen on Amazon for Lion's Mane LC. Video is it after about 5 days.

Lots of viable mycilium in this liguid culture syringe. No contamination issues. I used mine to inocculate L.C. jars

It didn't work, I made a grain spawn out of real oyster mushroom and one with this liquid mushroom, I was very careful with both, this one grew into something green (that's not what you want) the one with real mushroom grew perfectly.

This item was well priced and arrived quickly. The syringe contained a good amount of mycellium and was otherwise clear. I had no contamination issues and colonization was very quick. I waited until a second fruiting flush to give a well informed review. Solid culture for a good price.

It's pure, concentrated with the agar revealing no contaminants. Strong genetics.

Spores took off great. Customer service is excellent. Will come back to them for sure.

Purchased a blue oyster and a Lions mane syringe. Both arrived absolutely chock full of mycelium. The most I've ever received from a mycology supplier. All 4 of our liquid culture jars are looking beautiful, white, fluffy and healthy. When stirred they fill out the jar. No obvious contam as of yet, but liquid culture can lie. So far so good. Will update review with fruit images in the future!
