Duke's from Virginia is the best mayonnaise on the market. It is reliably smooth and a bit tangy. It is good as a condiment and as an ingredient. Try smearing some on a pork chop before grilling, it beats any other fat. On this particular order, one bottle had the lid chipped and askew. I checked carefully, and the foil seal was still intact. I was surprised that the lid was chipped, because the package was well-wrapped in cardboard inserts as are used for wine bottles. Southern-bred, I have used Duke's for years and will continue to use it as long as it is available.

Grew up on Best foods real mayo and Kewpie. I was watching a mayo episode of America's Test Kitchen so I purchased this online since it was on sale. It was sooooo good! I'm not replacing my best foods and Kewpie mayos but I'm adding this to the repertoire. It's was creamy and salty. I tried it lately with chef Jose Andrea's microwave egg omelette: whisk the mixture of one egg and a dallop of Duke's mayo. Add a sliver of butter and microwave for 30-40 seconds. I usually do 35 seconds. Take it out and grate Parmesan cheese on top of it and enjoy. Easiest yummy egg recipe ever!

Order is for 6 Dukes Mayonnaise - I like that brand, not additives or alot of junk in it. BUT the EXPIRATION date is only 6 months away --> in FEBRUARY 2026. If I knew that, I would never have ordered it. There's no chance I could use that many in 6 months.
