The glass is thinner than I expected, they seem to be pretty durable for everyday use but they have no safety glass indication. I may update this after a few months but so far I have unsealed and resealed them at least a hundred times.So I definitely recommend these vacuum containers but with the warning that they probably should not be handled by young children.

I used one of the jars for items that I don't use often, it is still working. The one I used to keep coffee grounds in (and opened every day) no longer creates a vaccum. The top has separated a little and is not airtight anymore. It only worked for a few months. As in other reviews, I found the glass used to be very thin.

Two of the three lids failed in the first three weeks. One of the lid's pumps won't budge, and the other barely pumps at all, making it impossible to create a vacuum seal. The third one, which I use most often, is just fine. Strange that the two I've hardly used stopped working when I've used them at most two or three times.

Use them everyday in fridge to store things like fruit, grains, meat. Keeps food fresher longer, thus saving money. Like that no additional pump is needed.
