I used to think I was terrible at rolling out dough. I wouldn't make cut out sugar cookies for that very reason. Turns out my technique was just terrible! Now that I know what I'm doing, these dough guides ensure that all of my cookies (or pie crust or whatever) are the same thickness, which means they bake more evenly. They're super easy to use, come clean easily, and having three sizes means I'm ready to make almost anything (they're not thick enough for some molded cookies, but I have separate dough guides for those).

Love that these stay in place on my pastry mat! Easy to use and allow even rolling of my cookies. I find them superior to band on a rolling pin.

I was disappointed that they weren't longer. I will have to buy another set to make them long enough for rolling cookie dough or puff pastry

I love these silicone bars for making evenly rolled out dough. These bars are great. You can put them to the absolute widest possible. They're nice and long so you can roll out a large piece of dough. And you can stack them to make different thicknesses if one of the three provided isn't just right. They clean up easily too.I've used the bands that go on your rolling pins in the past and the thicker ones just flip over making them unusable, and they limit the width of the dough too much. They're too hard to put on your rolling pins too. Get these silicone bars instead, you won't be disappointed!

I purchased these to help with rolling out clay slabs for hand building pottery projects at home. Has worked great!

I actually like making rolled cookies now. No more issues with timing. Every cookie is now the same thickness. Very easy to clean. I do keep these in a plastic bag because the silicon picks up any lint/debris in the bottom of a drawer. (Seriously... how often do you clean out your kitchen drawers?)I am thinking about buying a second set so that I can build up to even greater thicknesses.Update... still the absolute best. I will admit that I purchased a different set of rails as a gift when the price went up on these. The other rails turned out to be horribly flimsy and were returned. I will be buying these for the gift.
