- 110 DAYS. "Valenciano" pumpkins feature a white skin, slight ribbing and a flattened round shape. Each pumpkin weighs 8 to 10 pounds, with a diameter of 8 to 10 inches. Valenciano pumpkins have fairly sturdy stems and sweet thick orange flesh. Delicious pies and excellent fall decorations!
- Planting Instructions: Direct sow outside after danger of last frost. Soil germination temperature 75F-90F. Seeds will rot in cool soil, especially cool and wet soil. In fine rich well-drained soil, plant in hills of 2-3 plants per hill at 4-6 feet apart, at 1" below soil surface and 4"-6" spacing between seeds. Germination is 7-10 days depending upon growing conditions.
