Wife of the account holder here. I made a ball gown costume for a masquerade and a gaming convention; this was good for a last second purchase to tie everything off. It's quite pretty when you first pull it out and put it on. It did give my gown a fluffy shape, and it was easy to move around in. The reason I give this 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 is because this hoop skirt did NOT last more than 2 events, and I am not hard on my costumes. In fact, the hoop skirt started to have problems during the very first event. After less than 2 hours of wearing it, the seams started to unravel! The threads started to drag behind me and pick up debris from the floor, and then it just got worse. After the second event, it started to fray so badly along 3 of the layers, especially the bottom one. The seams on the hoop channels have started to come apart as well. You could tell from a mile away, even though my gown covered all but the very front of the skirt. I really wish the seams were stronger on this instead of a single straight sewing line, but so be it. $30 down the drain--I now have to throw it away and either buy (from a different seller) or make a new one myself.

I should have read the reviews but needed this quickly.....terrible terrible quality....there are loose threads everywhere, the fabric is beyond cheap and i ordered it in black as well....sigh.....there was no packing slip and nowhere to return it. will do my research a little better next time....do not buy this as it looks absolutely nothing like the picture.

It's nice and definitely long enough for someone 5'9 " but it's really horribly made... I wore a once to try on and all the seams are falling apart...The bottom bone is metal but I other 3 are plasticBut I don't know if I'd ever buy again... I kind of wasted my money on something that isn't sewn well together and easily comes apart....

Yes. It is an attention grabber. Not made real sturdy. Some ruffles are weak. I can twist it up to put away like a windshield shade. Down to a size of a hula hoop. Good investment for christmas caroling costume

Got there the next day. Easiest purchase ever. For the price the item is of good quality. It is going to be perfect for our costume Christmas Party.
