I only use this in my Brother printer.

Great product and perfect for its price. I live in Hawaii and this product sells for double the price in local stores. This is perfect for home use because there are more days that my family does not use the printer in any given week. But every time I need something printed, I can always count on great prints from my Brother printer. Toner will not dry up or clump up and seem to last us for close to a year before we need to replace--better than any inkjet printers and cartridges I used to own. I also enjoy the fact that I have a copier available in the house and I do not have to find a Kinkos or UPS store. I do not like using this for printing pictures though, it seems to waste a lot of toner. With current per print costs at walgreens of walmart ranging from 15 to 25 cents, and the availability of ordering on line and picking up at the store later, I would rather save my toner. However, I have printed onesies-twosies for kids' school project and this is convenient and works great for that! Item is factory sealed and original for brother printer. I highly recommend this product and guaranteed that I will buy it again and through amazon prime in the future!

The cartridge works absolutely as it should so I feel I have to give it five stars.My HL- 3180 Brother Printer is set up so that it won't print in black when one of the color cartridges needs replacing. This is extremely inconvenient. I think it's a deliberate Brother policy because I received a letter from them today offering to set me up for Toner Auto-Fulfilment when the ink in a cartridge runs low.As a result, I don't intend to buy a Brother cartridge again, and will look for other suppliers.

Stick with the name brands, Brother brand works perfectly and my brother printer. They are still way too flipping expensive, but at least they work.

Works just fine but a ripoff for the money.

Have purchased refurbished ones before but sometimes they malfunction and/or skip. Brother cartridges never have done that. I have a Brother machine and these Brother Cartridges are the best for it!

I purchased two sets each from this seller in every color for my printer. I also bought my printer a couple of years ago from Amazon so thought that it would not be a problem to buy the cartridges as well from Amazon. I was very wrong and now I am having to pay for it. I am a homeschooling mom and we are supposed to start next Monday, however, my printer WILL NOT print correctly so now I do not know what to do and will not be able to start on time. I used my budget earlier in the year to buy what I THOUGHT was a quality product from Amazon and it is not and now I do not have the budget to buy these again because they are too expensive now. My Father-in-Law even purchased all entirely new drums from the printer to try to fix the issue and it did not resolve it. The first page of the document will print OKAY and the quality drops dramatically until it does not print the images anymore. Of course, this is my homeschool planning time, and it is out of the refund window but I DO NOT WANT THIS PRODUCT because THEY DO NOT WORK. This ate up most of my budget, but was supposed to last for more than one homeshcool year but now I have not been able to print my daughter's Pre-K curriculum. I am very upset and hurt that I was duped to believe this was a quality purchase and now my children's education will suffer for it.

Opened the product and it had yellow toner all over the cartridge. It was also a different color cartridge (black) compared to the other two (C & M) I got in (grey). Was this a refurbished one? I cleaned it and loaded it into my printer. Status shows it's full. Just didn't like the idea of a refurbished cartridge being sold as "new" to me. The outside of the box showed no tampering, so it came from Brother I assume. I will see how it goes and edit review accordingly.
