Best Battery charger to date
Love this YC6000 charger as its simple to use and not only charges my Vape batteries, but also standard AA's etc. What I love the most compared to other chargers I have had is that it gives comprehensive feedback on the condition of the batteries for example, I can see that some of my older batteries don't quite hold the same level of charge as my newer ones. The unit itself is nicely made, the display is large, bright and clear and gives all the information one needs such as the charge voltage, current charging level, battery type, and what mode the charger is in etc. It also has a USB 5V output, handy for a quick charge of USB devices. Item arrived quickly and was well packaged and when my other branded 4 cell charger needs replacing, I will certainly look for another of these.

Really great charger with only minor flaws
Really love that this charger shows detailed stats for each battery such as voltage and internal resistance so you can identify batteries that are on the way out. Though it won't charge non-rechargeables it can be used to test them by putting them in briefly and looking at voltage and internal resistance for the few seconds before charging starts. Alternatively you can start a discharge test on a non-rechargeable battery to see how much the voltage dips when supplying significant current. For very dead batteries, the charger won't even recognise them or display any information. One niggle; if no viable batteries are plugged in the charger displays the message 'nul' and stays on. The charger has to be unplugged to turn the display off. Also the mains charger wire is annoyingly short at approx 1m - 1.5m.The battery will only physically fit 2 large D-size batteries at a time which the instructions say should be in bays 1 and 4 (not sure if it enforces this). Haven't yet tried C-size batteries or any of the exotic Li-on battery types, ony AA, AAA and D NiCd and NiMh. It doesn't support 9V cuboid-style batteries at all.

An enigmatic puzzle riddled within a mystery.... creating this conundrum for me?
OHH.... fun and games... How do you define the polarity of this charger because the plus and minus symbols on the charging points of the Youshiko Y6000 are clearly indicating the wrong polarity to me? Almost no one who has purchased this battery charger mentions this ..... But - I have been scratching my brow on this confounded conundrum since I innocently opened the Youshiko box yesterday morning.Eventually ... after surfing the net for a while I found a very useful picture on a website which indicated this anomaly as a kind of confirmation. Then I could use this excellent battery charger with confidence? Ohh what joy.........................Predictably this revelation produced from me a big sigh of relief revealing as it did a Y6000 being used to charge it's batteries. Eureka - the positive battery terminals were topwise right where the negative indications were? When you think about the complete lack of any polarity symbols apart from those indicating the wrong polarity you realise that this anomaly has a really wierd event horizon....... I can only conclude it must have been done deliberately....? There's some funny folk out there...

Brilliant
I was after something that could do Li-ion as well as Ni etc. This is perfect. The menu options take a few minutes to get to use but it's worth it. Charges well and doesn't boil my batteries like the old charger. Once you understand the options it's pretty much automatic. Auto detect works really well. Perfect conditioner too. What else could you want? Well probably a 9v port... but that's no fault of the unit. Neg. The USB port doesn't seem to work... but i had no plans to use anyway.

Does not do every battery type
The display and information on it is reassuring that the battery is getting charged and as each slot is independent you can see which and when each is charged. All rechargeable batteries are covered of the sizes supported (A, AA, AAA, AAAA, C, D.

My go-to charger for ALL my batteries
This is by far the BEST battery charger I’ve ever owned, I deliberated about buying this for weeks as it's quite expensive but I also wanted a charger that could "test" my batteries after charging them, I wanted to be able to discharge my batteries and then record the capacity before opting to recharge them, as an added bonus this charger not only charges Li-Ion 3.7v batteries but ALSO it will charge 2 D cells or 3 C cells at once, I'm saving to buy a second one of these, it's fantastic for also Exercising new NiMh batteries to help them achieve full capacity.

Feature packed, safe and easy to use
I charge a lot of eneloop AA and AAA batteries, sling with larger 18650 lithium batteries.Nice to have a charger that has the option of getting currents to suit charging speeds, and can be customised for each bayThe test feature does take a while, but is good for checking battery health and grouping similar performing batteries if they mixed upThe screen is very easy to readImpressed with all of the safety features.A cover may have been good to make better use of the USB power bank output option
