Healthy looking plant, well packaged.
I remembered this plant and its lovely scent from childhood. Took me a while to find what the English name is and then I found it on Amazon. I ordered and received the plant from the seller in less than a week. The plant looked pretty healthy and looks like it was grown from a cutting with roots looked well developed but not root bound. It came in a small wrapped plastic planter and packaged in a card board box. I transplanted it into a slightly bigger container with a bit of organic potting soil to let the roots grow, once it fills this one up, I'll put it in a larger pot.Weather's been nice and 1 week later no transplant shock. I think it's past blooming season so can't comment on flowers, but I will try update once it blooms hopefully sometime next year.

Death of Tuscany
The Grand Duke of Tuscany? More like the Grand Death of Tuscany! I am an experienced gardener and want to warn customers, take note of this listing and don't go anywhere near these products. These are plants that should be thrown into the trash. My Jasmine was visibly dying but shipped to me anyway. I now have a dry stick in a pot that is supposed to be the sumptuous plant in the photo.Buyers are not mishandling these plants and causing them to die. These are simply not reputable goods. The plant showed up looking like wilted spinach, diseased and badly drooping. I tried in vain to save the sick plants storing at room temperature, potting them in a comfy environnment and treating it with love, but no amount of care was going to make a difference. No bud could ever sprout from the substandard condition it arrived in. Leaves violently fell out every day until I was left with the barren product I have now.I do not write bad reviews lightly, this is the first 1 star review I have left for an amazon product. However, I can see that I am not the first angry customer swindled with this bad merchandise. I would not have bought if I had paid closer attention to the numerous 1 star reviews for this unethical service. I imagine that I will not be the last bad review unless Amazon takes down this rotten listing. Buyer Beware!

I received this plant last week and I was very disappointed. It came in a small pot with dried soil. The plant is already dried and very small. It has 2 small branches that are dried. I don't know if it will grow. I watered it and it has not improved. I don't know if I will buy from this seller again. I would appreciate a replacement because i really like how the picture and the product description it has here.

Good plant, Many areas for improvement
Update 5 months later: I've got growth, fast growth. Since I purchased the plant, I've been babying it but those leaves wanted to fall off. Now I know why. I purchased this plant at the end of the growth cycle. The leaves need to fall and then make room for new growth! I've added a new pic to show the new growth. It's not much yet (and pardon my hand) but one thing that I've learned about Jasmine is that flowers always come from new growth. So I'm expecting lovely leaves and flowers and I have no doubt the summer on patio will do wonders for it.Nov. 17 th All things considered, it does seem to be a good specimen. However, other places include instructions on care, but this company did not. Just a purchase receipt was in the box with the plant taped to the box, no peanuts, nothing. Still, not a huge deal, but shipping was also lackluster, as shipping details are not listed and the item still had not shipped after a week, so I emailed the company and it was shipped that day. Said they ship on specific days. First order with this company so I didn't know what to expect, but I really wanted this plant. It appeared to be a well rooted cutting. It came in that baggy so I had to pot it immediately, when normally I'd let it stay in the original one for a few days to help let it recoup from shipping stress. Not a big deal, but other plants have come in a neti pot, or a small grower pot or something. This sounds silly, but the plant honestly looked sad and pathetic after two or three days through shipping. It was even dirty, but not from soil (there really wasn't any loose soil at all because it was rooted so well). It was more of a dusty, crusty film. In any case, I was worried about the plant having some sort of plant sickness so I potted it, wiped down the leaves in vinegar, and gave it the best seat on the window shelf. I'm hoping some TLC and plenty of sun will perk it up. I think it has the ability to thrive.

Bought two - Came with mites - Neither Made it
I have had many plants. Some I currently have are from when I was 7-years-old. I have two other tropical plants, a lemon tree and a pineapple plant - both doing very well. I bought two of these plants. They showed up looking okay. One was a lighter green, one was a darker green. I let them get acclimated to the window and after 2 days they developed mites which none of my other plants have. They never grew and no new shoots. So disappointed, I really love Jasmine.
