Stunning deck, Exemplary Customer Service
I would give this 5 Stars for the Customer Service I received from Jillian Wilde alone i preordered the deck in the spring which was delayed due to an initial poor print quality (that I'm sure many publishers would have released regardless). An unexpected turn of events has forced a rather quick move and I was concerned about the deck getting to me. Jillian reached out and after a few emails we deternined it would arrive in time just barely. A few days later Jillian emailed me again to let me know Amazon had received the deck early and she would cancel my preorder if I wanted to order with them as it would assure I would have the deck in plenty of time. That service alone, from the deck creator no less, deserves 5 stars. But it's also a beautiful, insightful and very readable deck. The cardstock is nice quality with a velvety smooth matte finish. It will take a minute to work them in but that's the price of quality cardstock.Overall the art is quite good and I personally enjoy the ample white soace. It feels clean and to the point. As with any deck some cards are stronger than others. The Three of Swords is hands down the most beautiful card in the deck. Pamela Colman Smith's original is iconic and also one that is nearly copied exactly in subsequent decks. Naked Heart's 3 of Swords pays a respectful homage to its grandmother but is its own entity entirely. I am sure there have already been tattoos from this and if Jillian wants to print money she very well could with this design as if you put it on a tshirt, beanue, tank, cellohone case, whatever people will buy it. Even people who think that the word tarot rhymes with carrot or think that Naked Heart was an 80s hair metal band or a sequel to a David Cronenberg film will buy it. It's that good of piece of art.The Court is really well done as well and has a unity and consistency I appreciate. I normally get rather aggravated when classic arcana titles replaced for thematic reasons but it doesn't really bother me in this case and the new names flow rather nicely. The deck shuffles beautifully and for me at least reads rather direct, which i prefer. However if read with the accomponying guidebook definitions the directness softens and it does allow your mind to wander a little more. Even if you're a seasoned reader you'll want to do this at least once as there are some nuances and insights I never considered. The guidebook also is the catalyst for the healing properties imbedded in the deck. That guidebook may look small but there is a lot of info packed in there. I don't work with crystals. I've tried and quickly became ovetwhelmed but the methods Jillian described here make me want to try again.I've heard this deck compared to The Wild Unknown and Lumina. Having owned all three decks I must attest all three are really their own being. Yes they are black and white with splashes of color (Naked Heart's colors are the most vivid by the way) but their energies and voices are very different. Wild Unknown is much rougher around the edges and many of its cards felt like first drafts for me. Lumina's guidebook felt like it was targeted towards privileged white women (just my opinion) and though it had some stunning cards it felt a bit vapid and soulless. Naked Heart had the clearest voice, the best color and the best -guidebook and though not every card works - Strength and The Chariot are the low points for me - the cards that do - the aforementioned 3 of Swords, Ace of Wands, SkyFather, 9 of Pentacles - are breathtaking.Though I feel that every reader does themselves a disservice by not learning on an RWS standard deck Jillian has provider enough instruction that someonev who has never handled the cards before could but this deck and be reading from this deck , but only this deck, in a short while. I think this would make a perfect second or third deck or a supplementary first deck but I also get not wanting to start on RWS. My first deck wasn't. But my very quickly acquired 2nd deck was.Overall Jillian has produced a very special deck and at a very affordable price. Decks of this caliber of production usually go for $60 +. It's a vibrant, sleek, beautiful little deck and Jillian truly does care about her customers.

Modern way to read tarot
The media could not be loaded. As a graphic designer I loved this deck. It’s so simplistic also since my brain works in lines and animals it helps me understand messages easier

Luscious card stock, 🌹 petal feel.
Each deck I get I need to spend some time with. But the decks I don't connect with right out of the mail box but wait a couple weeks , maybe even months, become my BEST MOST ACCURATE decks. It happened again this time.I encourage you to play with your new deck, get to know it, and if it's still not "clicking" put it away with a crystal & play with another deck. Maybe expand your knowledge a bit? Watch a new tarot reading video? We can never learn everything!I took this deck out again & it was with the 6 of wands that I connected! This deck makes me really happy now. This is the meditation deck. This is a visual and tactile experience of meditation. The meaning of each card is in the artwork. The key 🗝️ is to be in a safe quiet place when I start working with these. Because this is Arcane tarot/oracle at its best. This deck has layers . This deck will take you places. This is that deck that will tell you specifically what you need. Whether you asked or not lol. Did I mention how amazing it feels? This cardstock is spoiling me.

Instant love affair with this deck
I adored this deck from the moment I saw it. It's almost all animals with only a few humanoid figures and it has a warm and compassionate energy and a charming sense of humor (I laugh out loud every time I see the seven of cups, for example). It delivers messages in a clear but loving way. I love how the artwork is a combination of almost photorealistic animals with black and white line drawings of their surroundings and the elemental/esoteric symbols. The cardstock is thick and beautifully matte and silky and the cards are a slightly smaller size which makes them easy to shuffle with my small hands. It comes in a sturdy box that is also matte finished and beautifully designed with a ribbon pull to remove the deck. The guidebook is the same size as the cards but CHUNKY--about 3/4 inch thick!--with oodles of information including awesome little tables for each of the majors listing all the specific symbolic elements and their meaning. Honestly I could go on and on about what a beautiful job Jillian Wilde did with every aspect of this deck. In just a few weeks it has become one of my favorites and I think it will be a deck that I only use to read for myself because it's a special relationship that I don't want to share (in my collection of 30+ decks I only have one other deck I feel that way about). I love love LOVE it and it just fits my personality and resonates like no other.

Ultimate self reflection soul work deck
I have to say, I fell completely in love with this deck the moment my hands touched it. I can be picky when it comes to my tarot decks. I really enjoy a deck that is minimalist in artwork, but still gives me plenty to work with in my readings. This deck does just that. The 3rd edition is a more vibrant and richer color saturation than the previous editions and that's what finally sold me on picking this up. The card stock is beautiful and heavy without feeling so and the crystal grid that comes with it is perfect for those that like to use crystals in the readings. I have found in my work with this deck that it really lends itself to soul work and self reflection, maybe more so than doing readings for others, but still works nicely as a reading deck too. I have found that when I let a client choose a deck they have chosen this one- especially if they aren't of the witchy variety. The booklet is a great tool and describes the place where the creator was coming from wonderfully. It's not small, but it's not large either.Overall you can't go wrong adding this one to your collection. A well made, thoughtful, and provoking deck. Kudos to Jillian C. Wilde. Now, here's to hoping a larger full color companion book is released!
