Good light bulbs
Slowly replacing my CFC bulbs with LED. These work just fine.

Should last a lot longer than all the no-name junk bulbs
These seem fine for now. They're nice a bright, a pleasant warm white color, and they use slightly less energy than many no-name bulbs with the same light output. The key will be in how they last. I've had terrible luck with all the Chinese no-name bulbs sold here. They advertise these long lifespans but die in a year. And nearly all the companies selling them are gone after a year so warranties are worthless.

Best Bulb for Canned Lights
This bulb has a long neck which makes it fit nicely into the canned light fixtures. Also, they do not flicker when they are dimmed. Both of these features are huge and make the Sylvania bulbs better than ordinary bulbs.

As with all LED lamps, you need to go up to the next equivalent wattage listing to equal the same amount of light from a standard incandescent bulb.

longer than standard
nothing wrong with the bulbs except that they are about a full 1/2" longer than a standard halogen bulb they are intended to replace. wanted to use in my range hood but stick down too far. for general use, where length of the bulb isn't really too important, they would be fine.
