These swords bend in my hair when I wear them, but I've been able to bend them back so far.

These are beautiful and they hold very well. Over the last few weeks I discovered hair pins, and I realize I don’t have to cut my hair off cause wearing in a pony for work HURTS all day long. These don’t hurt, hardly know they are there, and sword shaped, so CUTE! One of them game damaged however. The gunmetal one, the handle was broken off the sword in the package, so disappointed.

Took a bit to work in my shoulder length hair but well worth it looks so cool so happy can work for varied lengths. While not even weighing much surprisingly it's the same as any stick but style that I feel more suits me. Cant wait to work into my costumes for a ren fair this would be a great piece. Highly recommend these are a great price so hope to see more designs I would definitely get more of them.

When I read that they were 8" long, that didn't seem TOO big, but these really are wide and long swords. They're metal and pretty heavy, but should work fine for hair. I got basically what was pictured, except the handle of one of mine has a black coating on it (which is nicer). The packaging was a little odd, like it was a few sets cobbled together, so I wouldn't be surprised by minor variations. Three swords (gold/silver/gunmetal) and then three more swords (gold/silver/gunmetal) with gems hanging off the ends. The dangling bits match the sword color too, which is appreciated. My daughters think they're really cool, and we're happy with them.
