This cake is so realistic looking! The fake fondant icing actually feels realistic too. I chose it because it was 8 inch in diameter. Beautifully made. Came on time. I had given a high quality heavy domed cake plate to grandparents & after they passed, it was returned to me. The cake plate is beautiful & I wanted to display it in my kitchen but I needed to put something inside. I found this cake display & knew this would be perfect. I had put a plate under the cake plate so I bought some fake fruits to display under it. I absolutely love this. I highly recommend this product.

The cake makes me long for dessert. I did a closeup so you can see the imperfections that for me were not deal breakers. I was able to remove the smudge seen on the side. It was dark in color. You may see a bit more glue here and there. A few of the strawberries had come off and it was packed well. I was able to glue them back with Gorilla glue. I would probably keep exploring other makers of these fake desserts as I personally don't enjoy gluing anything I buy. It was minor....but still. It took me a while to find the glue then fix it, then wait for it to dry. I don't want to do anything like that. Had it not been on sale, I would not say it was worth the original price based on the imperfections alone. There was no smell which is a plus. No overly scented cakey smell or chemicals. Its about a 6" cake and is true to size. The quality rating would be 7 out of 10 for me. It looks real, the details were believable. However being able to see the glue on some areas and them not taking the time to clean off those smudges took away from its appearance. I don't regret buying this product.
