The best tasting oil and chilli crisp I know, liked by all my friends and family.

As a picky eater, I was pleasantly surprised with how balanced the ingredients are. I mostly like the fact it is NOT overly salty which allowed me to taste all the ingredients. In addition, it is delightfully spicy.

Try this chili paste! I had never heard of it and tried it baed on reviews. It has an amazing, unique taste, and enlivens many different dishes.

Other reviews mentioned it arriving very oily. Mine was sealed & packaged well, no mess or oil anywhere on the jar or packaging. Flavor: tangy, earthy and has some heat. I can handle 2of 5 at Thai restaurants and this is about as hot as I'd be able to enjoy. Overall yummy. Not much crunchy bits in it, mostly sauce. Seems like a high price for what is essentially chili oil. I like it, but I probably won't buy again because of the price

My gold standard for chili oil is Lee Kum Kee's chiu chow chili oil, therefore I'm going to base my review on the comparison. Chiu chow is more garlicky, whereas FLYBYJING Original Sichuan Chili Crisp does have garlic, the mushroom powder, Sichuan pepper and seaweed powder give it a deeper, more complex savory/umami flavor. They're different enough that I'll have both, but if I only bought one it would be the chiu chow because it's less than half the price. If money meant nothing to me I'd get the FLYBYJING. As for the reviews saying there's too much oil, I disagree. It's chili oil, and it's about half (or a little more) solids, which is exactly right for chili oil.
