Perfect fit for Kawasaki Z900
I have a 2021 Kawasaki Z900 and the thread of the included bolt is the same as the factory bolt holding in the bar end weight. This alone makes this particular set of mirrors WORTH it if you have a Kawasaki that doesn’t have an open bar end on your handle bars. I’ve used these on my FZ07 in the past with the included expansion hardware and the first mirror fell out. I only use one so I came home and put the spare I had in and was good to go. Four stars because I haven’t had to test this particular set out. Just installed and the feel is definitely solid (I think better than they were in the past) and fitting them was no issue.

They're not super terrible.
I've had these installed on my bike for about 2 months now, and they've been ok, but far from great. They're advertised as being made for 7/8" bars, but the piece that fits into the bar is much smaller. I'm guessing they sell the same mirrors while advertising being made for a different size. It was a bit of a challenge, but ultimately I got them in securely by adding some vinyl tape around the piece that expands to give it extra purchase. So no big deal there. After mounting, I noticed they vibrated like crazy. In fairness I ride a buell XB12, so it's pretty much a 1200cc vibrator. I ended up taking the bolts out, sanding the paint off of the contact points, and reinstalling everything with some blue Loctite. Worked great for a while, but after a couple months they went back to vibrating pretty bad. When I tried to re-tighten the bolts a little to get rid of the vibration one of the bolts stripped the threads in the aluminum bracket. It wasn't due to me being ham-fisted with it. I do a lot of delicate motor work with aluminum, so I wasn't exactly hammering on this thing with a cheater bar.At the end of the day they're not bad, but you'll more than likely have to do a fair amount of fussing (and rigging) with them in the long run.

Only 100 miles, but so far so good
After reading a few reviews about the loosening up or falling off, I decided to take 2 extra steps during install. #1 I wrapped the part that expands inside the bars with a single pass of electrical tape for grip. #2 I put blue loc-tight on the threads for the nut that causes the expansion/tightening inside the bar.You have to really wrench on it to get it really tight and you're fighting the mirror trying to pivot at the same time. Knocked 1 star off for that. After quite a bit of riding they are still very secure, no movement. Definitely less movement than the stock mirrors, so I can see better. The finish and look are nice, I like them a lot. Hopefully they hold on and last a long time... But for the price, I'm impressed so far.

Avoid convex mirrors
Due to the convex mirrors, everything appears to be twice as far away. Very difficult to make out what is behind you. I would have preferred standard curvature for the mirrors.

Nice kit. Well packaged.
Nice kit! After install you will have to adjust them and then retighten to get them in the correct position. They dont swivel too well. You have to loosen and then retighten. But the mirrors will stay in place pretty well. They look great, but let's be honest, they are small and not the most effective. You will have to get used to them. Very small and my eyes are not that great anymore. Just check twice. Before you switch lanes. Ride safe!

Wrong size
Why not just manufacture these to actually fit a 7/8" handlebar as described? It can't be any harder than making it just a bit smaller than the opening.. Because if this it will just never fit properly in a 7/8" handlebar. It's too small, if you add an extra bit of tape on the outside it fits better, but can still come out very very easily. taking it off the outer handlebar attachment and adding it to the middle of the handlebar is much more reasonable (and in fact much more discreet) but the views are worse.

Very solid
Had read some reviews that the inner mechanism would spin not letting the mirror to lock in place. I found that if you were to put a little downward pressure at the mirror in, this would hold the lug in place enough to expand and then lock in place. Excellent value.

Great Value for the money spent
Only challenge was that I purchased a new set of handle bars that didn't have the traditional amount of space to fit the mirrors into. My bad!
