Rothvyn Weekender Travel Bag in Waxed Canvas and Microfiber Leather

I got this for the several smaller business trips I have planned this year. I think the bag is a perfect size for what I need. Think 2-3 day or carryon for longer trips. As far as construction, I think the waxed canvas feels soft to the touch but also heavy duty at the same time. I have no problem tossing this into car trunks or backseats. Feels solid. The inner lining also seems high quality.Looks and feels well made.My only complaint I had was when the bag first arrived. It had a very strong warehouse smell to it. I waited a few days to see if it went away. Just left it out in my living room for 3 days and the smell went completely away. So turned out to not be a big deal. All in all, I’m happy with this purchase.

This bag has great stitching and brass elements. The zippers are strong, I let my 7 year old test them for about an hour, and this bag flattens for easy storage. I travel frequently enough to need a weekender, and this one is great. Upon opening the delivery box there was a manufacturers smell but that quickly went away (after my first trip using the bag the scent dissipated...I kinda liked that new luggage smell, personally). It has several pockets/ compartments and the microfiber cleans easily (I use rubbing alcohol to clean microfiber). This bag looks expensive enough that I recieved several compliments. I purchased the camel colored one. I recommend this product highly, so much so that I'm actually writing a review, which I never do. If you are thinking about getting a weekender, save yourself some time, buy this one! Also I case you weren't sure based on the title of my review; It fits under airplane seats!!

I really like this bag and have had it for a while now. It's great for a weekend. Has a thick carrying strap that is removable. Unfortunately interior fabric of the bag has ripped at it's seams, leaving exposure between the inside of the bag and the outer fabric. It is still usable but slightly upsetting it didn't hold up longer.

If I had only one way I could describe this bag, it would be, rugged but classy.Like Chewbacca in a tux.The Canvas feels like a tank. The faux leather feels durable as all get out. The metal clasps feel heavy and spring back with authority. Honestly, it feels like a rugged bag. Almost feels weird having the bag be so attractive and yet feel so solid. Hence, Chewy in a tux.So if you’re looking for a bag designed by Bear Grylls and James Bond, look no further.

This is a great bag especially at the price point. It looks expensive, is made very sturdily, is plenty large but also just fits under the seat on a plane (assuming you don’t stuff it to the complete max). It’s the perfect weekender/solution to avoiding checked bag fees. I recently flew with this as my “personal” item along with a carryon suitcase for a week long trip and it served me very well.

All I can say is...WOW! This duffle is terrific. It's great looking, the workmanship is excellent, the materials are high quality, and it's vegan too. It's a bit larger than I expected which is great. I can see myself using it for a weekend retreat or for two weeks in Europe. Great job, Rothvyn, it would be an excellent buy at twice the price!

Absolutely gorgeous bag! I bought it as a gift for my mother, who has very discerning taste, and she couldn't have been happier with it. It met or possibly even exceeded her expectations. This bag does not disappoint with its quality materials, finish, and styling. I would highly recommend this item to anyone looking for a stylish overnight or carry-on bag.

Color is very muted compared to pictures, as if dust were embedded into the navy blue canvas material. The build quality seems okay or mediocre. This bag comes out of the packaging absolutely reeking of some odd smell. Will give it some time to air out, but it definitely stinks something awful.
