This radio has great sensitivity, comes with a replaceable 18 650 rechargeable with Li-ion battery, and you too it’s large speaker very loud and clear sound. It lacks a headphone jack.

As a full-time CNA working with long-term patients, many of whom are in their 70s and 80s, I’m always looking for ways to bring some joy and comfort into their lives. I was able to pick up a good range of stations, and the sound quality was surprisingly clear for such a small device. The best part? NOT VERY EFFECTIVE

This is a very good looking little radio. Totally worth the price. Features a telescope antenna and dial indicator that helps you tune in the radio signals.Radio seems to keep playing clear without distortion. Volume dial is also the on/off function, that is located on the side of the radio. Good speaker brings the sound quality good. Selections of shortwave/AM/FM bands. I gave this a present, and the recipient was thrilled! Of course, I have one for myself!

Bought this to run in my lakehouse shed through the winter to keep the critters out with the noise. I bought 2 of them a year ago and they both still work great. Excellent cheap solution for my needs comes with a cord but you'll need a power brick to run it without batteries, I just used one of my old firestick ones.
