Since Calcium, Magnesium, Vit D, K2, more spinach, weightlifting, etc. has not prevented or reversed my osteopenia and eventual osteoporosis, I am trying to figure out what is missing.The balanced ingredients in Drs. Best Bone Maker Complex (since osteoarthritis is from too much calcium & not enough Vit K2 to drive the minerals into the bones, not the soft tissues) did get rid of the arthritis in my hands, though. However, my osteopenia progressed to osteoporosis, and oddly, Bone Maker does not have any Strontium.Strontium is a natural essential mineral thus unpatentable, but Big Pharma is trying to make using it for building bones a patentable treatment in the U.S., and hiding much of the research on Strontium-based derivatives and blends. So finding out how it works, plus the needed ratio to the other major bone minerals, and how much of which form and which co-factors does that, is difficult. But their interest shows it DOES help. Right now people who cannot wait until a solid answer is found must guesstimate from veterinary studies. One a day along with extra magnesium, Vit D, and Vit K2 is a start.The medicines the medical doctors prescribe for porous bones slow remodelling, leaving too much brittle old bone. They bones get denser in X-rays, which was their objective, but more glass-like. One of the drugs has caused many vertical splits in the thigh bone. It's important to take this daily with magnesium for bone health. I only take one strontium with 1 chelated magnesium per day, before bedtime. My husband also takes it, and I credit the use of this, (along with chelated calcium complex at a separate time, with dinner) with healing his recently fractured hip. He had a bad fall, and I am convinced that if he had not been taking this regimen it would have been much worse damage. He's healing quickly, as well. HOWEVER, please allow 10 days for delivery as the shipper is very slow, that is why only 4 stars. Take your calcium too, at a separate time, and with vitamin D3. Do not take calcium with the strontium or magnesium as it will not absorb properly.

The product arrived quickly and as described. The capsules are easy to swallow, and the potency means I only need to take 2 as opposed to some other brands which require 3 or 4 capsules to get my desired 680mg.

This is good quality strontium at a good price. I only take one a day, first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, and I have faith that it is helping my bones stay strong.
