I gained some weight over the winter, so I was looking for a bathing suite that would offer some coverage. I thought a high-wasted bathing suite was a great idea. I've always had trouble buying a bathing suite online, so after purchasing it, I looked at the reviews and was worried about what I saw. The general consensus was "too small." So I also ordered the next size up, XL. I would say large fits like an American medium. It got here in a timely manner though. Much faster than what it said online.However, I ordered the XL 2 days after the L, and I'm still waiting for it. I was going to try them both on, and send back the one (or both) that doesn't fit.If the XL bottoms fit, I will just keep the XL, and then just find a top somewhere else. (Khol's, JC Penny, VS, etc.)

this bathing suit is extremely cute!!! I ordered it in a Large because of the reviews from other people. When I received the package it was only 2 weeks not a month like Ive experienced with other international companies on Amazon. But the bottoms are too loose :(, but the top fit me perfect(the top DOES run small). I wrote the company for an exchange but due to being in China it will cost more to ship it back than the actual bathing suit! But they have GREAT costumer service they emailed me back quick and were very helpful. i ended up getting a 50% refund. The bad thing is now I have to order a Medium but its going to take 3-4 weeks to get here from another company ;(. I am 5'2 140 lbs 36 B and size pants 5-7 and the large bathing suit was to big on the bottoms but perfect on top

I wear sizes small and medium, but I'd read that this runs large so I ordered a large. The bottoms fit great and look pretty good, though they're very thin (as expected). But the top is somewhat small and the pads that go in swimsuit tops to prevent nipping weren't bandeau-shaped. So I've got two long, oval-ish pieces of fabric with triangle-shaped pads that VERY CLEARLY show through. I just had to buy a plain white top to wear with the bottoms. All in all, I'm finally happy with the final combination. I got what I paid for, really.

The main issue is no body is proportionate, so really I should have bought them separately. I bought I think a medium or large. The bottoms fit just find a little tight but nothing losing some weight wont fix. But the top I swear every time it fits like an A cup, how is that possible shouldn't that be for the small.

I tried my swimsuit on today and I loved it. I loved the fabric, the style almost everything. It looks just like the picture BUT my buttons fell off (4/6). That's not a deal breaker for me because I can sew them back on. So consider that when getting this item.In terms of fit, I got the large - which was a good thing because it fit a wee bit closer than I wanted it. Otherwise this Retro Swimsuit was good. :)Happy customer here.

bottoms fit, top a bit small.

I loved the design, but it was waaaay too small. Did not make me look very good!

Worth every penny! Took this piece on vacation and it looked great! NOT 1 COMPLAINT! I read the reviews and saw that some folks had an issue with the buttons.. so I had my granma just reinforce them with some thread JUST to make sure.. either way, this was a great great great buy. I ordered a Large. I'm very small at top, but round at the bottom. 135 lbs, wih some mommy pooch.. Bathing suit works wonders! #would buy it again
