I have several Govee Lighting products in my studio, and the new upgraded Smart Ceiling Light is just what I needed. I had the previous ceiling light, which was okay, but did not have the color options, scenes or features that I love in the other products. The new Pro model is MUCH bigger, brighter and looks amazing in my studio paired with two Smart RGBIC Table Lamp 2, and a Glide RGBIC Wall Light. Setting it up in the app is very straightforward, and I was quickly able to add it to scenes and groups, and configure it to control all lights together with Alexa. I can now have matching colors and patterns for work, relaxation or music-matched for when I'm creating or playing in the studio.

I have bought multiple Govee products in the past, and when I saw this one I knew right where I could use it. It was easy to install and works great just like the other Govee products I have.

Ok light, the plastic materials make it look a bit commercial, less residential. BUT there is one crucial "feature" that renders it useless in the very simplest of uses: you have all these options to select colors and dimming, but these settings are NOT retained if the wall switch is turned off! This is what Govee customer support told me. The website does not describe this "feature". So I can't use it as a simple ceiling light, I would have to futz with the settings in the mobile app EVERY TIME I turn the light on! Crazy!

So I got my roommate a ceiling light from this company and it's nice. It's a little like 8 inch light and it's bright and it has a nice colors on the top so you can kinda get those ceiling of lighting effects. When I saw this come up when the item was very first posted there was just a picture of the light and a picture of a phone. There were no additional pictures and the description just gave the name and that it was a light with no dimensions. Now the listing has a bunch of additional information however, when I receive the box, I was trying to figure out what in the world I ordered that was so big. When I opened it and saw this, my jaw dropped.I initially got this because I wanted to put a light up in the bathroom so that I could use the upper lights for like a nightlight or like taking a bath that kind of stuff. Unfortunately, this thing is massive. I mean, it is really huge and it is super powerful and bright. I have 1100 lm light bulbs in my living room two of them and they light up the whole living room really well. This thing is 4200 lm when I tell you it could light up the entire downstairs of an apartment or something like that. I am really not kidding about that. If you crank this thing all the way up, it's like as bright as lighting in an office or something. It just blows my mind how bright it is. As far as colors go, I will say that it kind of seems like the white channel may not be like a pure white channel and it might be using a little bit of color, but it also could just be my eyes and the fact that it was in such a small space I just took it down because there was no way I could use it in my bathroom like I felt like I might cook in there like an easy bake oven lolOverall, it's great. It has matter support so it goes right into HomeKit without issues and of course you have the app to be able to control it and do all the lighting effects and stuff like that. Overall, if you needed like a light in a living room or a dining room somewhere where you need a lot of light this is definitely the ticket. And it looks really good on the ceiling.

This is way brighter than my other normal LED light it replaced but with this I can control the colors and the brightness. It's a bit bigger than I thought but it's perfect for me at this size. There's so many options to control it via the Govee app but I did link it my Google Home so I normally control it through that via voice commands and it's worked perfectly so far. The Govee Brand is generally worth it and this light didn't disappoint.

Awesome; hardware and software work like a charm and the effects are amazing. In the USA using Android. Including a screenshot here of the DIY UI since it answers a lot of questions from the LED pattern to the general functionality of the app.But yeah, exceeds my expectations for Govee hardware.

Works great! Unfortunately I had to get an electrician to install because I had some issues getting it installed myself. Better safe than sorry but this is the perfect addition to my office. Love all the colors and works well with my other products. App is easy and works well with Alexa.

Govee is well known and has some of the best software for LED lights.
