Q: How much of this bag do I put in a 1100 gallon pool?

This product is intended for a single use in larger volume pools (10,000-12,000 gallons). It cannot be re-closed so it is not recommended for your pool. For your sized pool, please look for shock in a resealable container. You will find the HTH Pool Care Shock in 1.5 or 5 pound containers that you can take out the 1-2 ounces that you will need for your sized pool. Q: How long do you have to wait after using this shock, to be able to swim?

In general the rule is to wait 1 hour per pound of granular product that is added to give the product time to circulate. When adding Shock or Chlorine, also please test your water to ensure that the chlorine level is between 1-4 ppm for safe swimming.
