Stainless Steel Electric Water Kettle 1.7 Liter, Fast Heating with Auto Shut-Off and Boil-Dry Protection, Cordless, LED Light Indicator, Black

I've used this electric kettle for a couple of months now. It's been working great. The only fault is the bottom of the kettle itself--not the heating base--is not flat, so it's a bit wobbly. However that doesn't seem to affect the performance.I bought this one for it's glass body. I've used steel one before and didn't like it because it generated a lot of floaters/sediments. This glass kettle still has a metal bottom but perhaps due to smaller metal surface (instead of a whole metal body), there's less floaters/sediments. I solved the particle problem by switching to filtered water using ZeroWater filters. There's controversy around whether zero-water (no mineral whatsoever) is good for your health but that's another issue, I'm just happy that the kettle is clean and crystal clear inside so I don't have to deal with the mineral buildup any more.Another feature that helped me make the purchasing decision is the on/off switch being on the (top of the) handle itself, not on the bottom of the handle near the base. I find it handier this way. Easier to see and locate. It also allows the cups etc. to be placed closer to the kettle, and yet not block the way to the on/off switch.The blue light is an added feature. It's visually pleasing. The heating speed is not bad. I've used 220W-powered before which heated water in no time. Once I got used to this one, it's actually okay. I use the waiting time to get cups and tea and whatever else ready so no time is wasted.The plastic smell went away after a couple of boils. The water never gets in contact with any plastic part, other than the floater trapper when being poured out. The floater trapper, which is attached to the lid, is quite annoying when washing the inside because it gets in the way. But now I don't need to wash the inside--ever since I started using ZeroWater--it's not a problem any more.I'm very pleased with this kettle.

I purchased this electric kettle after the one I had used for many years quit working. I guess they don’t make things like they used to because it is much more flimsy than the one I previously owned. It works okay but does take a bit longer to heat water. It does the job but quality is not great.

I got this because I am a tea drinker. The water boils quickly, and there’s a pretty blue light to let you know it’s working (not like you couldn’t tell by the bubbles in the water, but ok). I love the automatic shut off, it means less chance of burning down my kitchen becauSe I forgot to switch the kettle off.

The blue lighting makes it looks very cool and because it's glass and stainless steel, there are no random extra tastes after it's heated up. Haven't needed to do extensive cleaning on it and have used it for several months.

I do a Chemex coffee pour over every morning for which I need12 cups of hot water. Before I got this I used a tea kettle on my electric range, That process was OK but since I have switched to this I find getting the water up and boiling much easier and quicker, and the unit does not take up much space on the counter. My only complaint is the wire strainer on the pour spout. It is in the way when I wipe the unit dry and I have not found a way to remove it even though it is supposed to be removable.

Warms up quickly

Hot water kettle super convenient for my teas in the morning. Place water in, tap power on, shuts off before my shower is completed.

Lo único que no me gusta es que hay un punto donde hace mucho ruido, pero es casi al momento de apagarse.

Me gusto la calidez, lo fácil de usar y lo fácil de limpiar.

Calienta muy rápido el agua. Y se apaga solito.
