Cozy Hugs Microwavable Hot & Cold Aromatherapy Plush Animal Warmer, Panda

These are cute, snuggly bears. They have some type of beads in the body and legs that warm up in microwave. (They will also hold the cold from the freezer but I have not used it that way.) I purchased for a three year old and a teenager; both love it. When warm, there is a faint lavender scent that is also pleasing to my child.Great little friend that helps comfort.

Soooo many people are commenting saying these toys are dangerous, ive had many of them and heated them for years. You NEED to put a cup of water in the microwave and heat them for UNDER a minute. Seriously...read the instructions when you buy something. These toys dont deserve the bad reviews. Cant be possible to have burned yourself if you heated it for under a minute with a cup of water in the microwave, you mustve forgotten to ad water or heated it for longer than instructed.

This smelled like mold when we heated it up. Gross!

I had one shaped like a watermelon. Used it the same way yesterday and it worked great. Did it today and it burnt two holes and the rice fell and burned my finger. Do NOT buy.

I bought a monster Cozy Hugs from a retail store tonight. I tried heating it in the microwave. After just a few seconds, it flashed and made a horrendous sound in the microwave. I thought it would catch on fire. I removed it, tried microwaving a cup of water, which worked, tried the pouch again, and had the same scary result. It is going back to the store tomorrow with a warning to remove all products from the toy section.I submitted a report with the Consumer Products Safety Commission, and now I need to hold the toy for 30 days, so it did not go back to the store yet. But the next time I tried to use my microwave, it didn't work anymore. The magnetron is completely destroyed, and I've had to purchase a new microwave.

if you read the tag, it says to place 1/2 cup of water in the microwave with the plush and heat in 1 minute increments...im guessing if you dont put the water in then that is what is causing them to explode and catch fire...it takes a little longer to heat it up with the water but it is safer

The product worked well and my kids loved it. Until there was a failure when being microwaved. A hole was burnt into the side and the wheat bead fell out burning my arm. Whats worse is that my wife has been searching, for half an hour now, of a way to get a hold of the company to tell them. She can't find anything. So, now I am leaving a review to warn other parents. Check the product when taking it out of the microwave. If I didn't burn myself I could have really burned one of my daughters! For a failure like this I want other parents to watch their products. The fact that we can't even get a hold of the company is beyond ridiculous. In this day and age no company should be unreachable with product problems like this. This could have caused serious injury to my kids! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM COZY HUGS!!!!! They obviously don't care about child safety!
