Does it all - head unit, antenna and steeering wheel controls with little fuss.
This is a great harness; once connected everything 'just worked' -- from steering wheel control to antenna to head unit.Installed in Honda CRV (2007 - 2011) with Sony XAV-AX100 head unit and HONK817 dash kit. Connected crux harness to sony harness with Posi-Twists, which were really simple to use.A few notes for posterity, should anyone else have this combo: Your blue antenna wire should be connected to 12v power (red). I routed my parking break from the head unit to ground (black) instead of trying to figure out how to wire properly -- haven't tested video (nor plan to) but the sony head unit didn't seem to care. You'll also end up just taping up 3-4 other wires that probably won't apply to your factory setup. Also -- I was cofounded a bit on what to make of the steering wheel controls since they provide multiple connections, including raw wires to a female 3.5 jack. Long and short -- it is likely your unit will just accept a 3.5 male jack for "remote" steering controls, like in my combo. The extra SWC pieces were unncessary.Lastly -- plenty of videos out there on pulling out your dash to do the install, but not a lot on where to place your mic or usb. I routed my mic up at the moonroof controls (there were predrilled holes in the outer plastic, but required me to drill a hole through the inner black plastic and mount with silcon caulk (happened to have it handy)). A bit of a project, but the mic is now completely invisible. As for USB, I routed this through the upper glove box. You may end up needing to drill a hole (the black plastic piece in the back was a pita to try and deal with from above the bottom glove box -- not much room in there). But, in the end, very tidy.

Perfect Install 2009 Honda CRV
Installed a 2014 Pioneer AVH-5600BHS into a 2009 Honda CRV.The install kit came with a good set of instructions for the head unit as well as the steering wheel controls. I soldered and shrink wrapped all my connections. This was my first time replacing an in-dash unit... So I watched a few U-Tube videos on how to remove the old head unit and with this kit... it hooked directly to the factory plugs. Install was easy and the finished product looked great.

A good interface for your steering wheel controls
Using this interface is essential if you would like to maintain steering wheel controls for your vehicle. Thankfully, the interface also includes the full harness for the radio, along with the needed harness (adapter) for the antenna. It was essentially plug and play. I am still uncertain as to what the RCA jacks are used for, since the radio itself has an auxiliary input. (I don't use it anyway, so, no big deal.)A couple of small things could be improved, however. For the steering wheel controls, another manufacturer added functions that worked when you long-pressed the buttons. On this one, holding down the channel/track button could have been used to jump to the next (or previous) folders on an SD card or, if there were a CD changer, to switch between discs. The "Mode" button on the steering wheel also does not match what the radio does--the button actually changes me from SD card to radio to disc; the Mode button on my head unit switches the screen from media player to the Android Auto screen. If there were a way to program that button somehow, this would have been ideal. For the most part, though, the button functionality covers the basics, and that may be all some people need.

Works perfectly with the radio I bought it for.

Easy
Perfect. I’m a total amateur at wiring, and this was no problem. 2010 Civic and pioneer 1440 are now happily married.

Realmente es plug and play para los vehículos Honda listados en las especificaciones
La interfase se encuentra funcionando perfectamente en mi Civic SI 2008 en conjunto con un Pioneer AVH-210EX y puedo seguir utilizando los controles al volante.
