Baldwin Heavy Duty BT28710 Hydraulic Filter,5-1/32 x 7 in

this is the second filter bought from Baldwin, wrong gasket both times. I had to reuse the old one. Was larger than the outer lip of the filter, crazy!

Don'y know if it because of the size but it feels really strong. It is in a spot that will be weathered and I think it will standup well.

I would love to give it a higher rating, but the provided gasket is a lot larger than the filter opening, making it an impossible fit. I'm just hoping the gasket on the one I'm replacing will still be in good enough shape to use. I seen another person had the same issue. The company should look into their inventory to see if they received a bad lot.It would nice if they sent me the correct gasket.

Works on north star 32 ton log splitter and is less expensive than buying fron Northern Tools. For some reason it's hard to cross reference their filters with others. Just saying.

Seems okay, wrong sized gasket. I returned it an had Amazon send another. Same issue. Maybe an issue with the particular lot they have in the KC area? The gasket from the one I’m replacing will likely work.
