Works great for our ELPH 310 HS
We needed an additional battery (or two) for our Canon ELPH 310 HS camera. I know that name brand batteries are generally the best, but did not want to pay for another Canon battery which does not have a lot of capacity (only 760 mAH for the Canon NB-4L). The good reviews convinced me to take a chance on these batteries and I'm glad I did. I purchased this two pack offer and paid to expedite the shipment and received them in 2 days as promised. Each STK NB-4L battery (1400mAH) charged fine in our Canon battery charger and fit fine on our ELPH 310 HS camera. Used them on our vacation where we took over 700 pictures, rotating these new batteries and the Canon NB-4L. It was so nice to have spare batteries! We have had them for about 3 months and they still seem to be performing well. I'm not sure that they last twice as long as the Canon battery but they certainly seem last at least as long as the Canon battery. The price was very good and I also liked the one year warranty. I would certainly consider purchasing other batteries from this company in the future.

good battery life but inconsistent quality
i liked the battery life but it discharged on me within the first month, granted it was under heavy usage. It seemed to hold a charge well enuf after the discharge incident. I also only received one of the batteries in this 2-pack so I didn't have a backup battery on hand (Amazon was kind enuf to reimburse me and let me keep the defective battery). I will be ordering the Genuine Canon replacement battery for $17 instead. the battery life on my original battery was great in the first few years' of use but it rapidly discharges now.

STK's Canon NB-4L Battery - Two Pack 1400 mAh
Excellent replacement for the original 750 mAh battery that came with my Canon 100-HS camera. This battery has 2X the charge capacity of the original 100-HS camera at 1,400 mAh and is a must if you're doing flash photography which quickly depletes the battery charge. These batteries charge rather quickly. I have four of them now and am prepared for any shooting situation. I also like the higher capacity when doing video photography. I believe that one battery will power my Canon 100-HS for one-hour in video mode. Install a 32 GB memory device and you'll be able to take 9,930 high-resolution photos without having to download them first to a computer. That's more than a year's worth of photos. Remember when we used to only be able to shoot 24 photos before we had to change the film roll?Great battery buy for your camera and a necessity for the buff who always wants to be ready for any situation.

So far, so good ...
While I've recently had poor results with other aftermarket camera batteries, these Canon replacements have worked well so far. I purchased two of them for my daughter's Canon ELPH 100HS camera for use during her 19 day trip to Europe. I don't know exactly how many shots she is getting per charge, but they seem to work at least as well as the Canon OEM battery that originally came with the camera. I'm only giving the battery 4 stars because we haven't used them long enough to see their ultimate performance and reliability over a few years.

Not as good as I expected
I bought these because the original batteries for my canon camera were not being fully charged and when I put one in the camera, it said the battery was discharged within 5 minutes. The STK's new batteries came in two separate small boxes taped together. When I charged them with the original Canon charger and put in the camera, one of the batteries showed similar behavior as the old batteries. Discharged within 10 minutes. The other one was good. I am not sure yet that I did not charge it correctly or long enough. I need to try charging it and using it again but before more tries, I am giving only two stars.

STK NB-4L Battery 2 Pk
I have used a non Cannon battery before and had no problems which is why I did not hesitate to order again. I have not used these specific batteries yet (reason for 4*)but from past experience I do not anticipate any. If this is not the case this time I will amend my review accordingly. I found compatible batteries to perform just as well as the Cannon battery at much less cost.

One battery worked the other was defective.
One battery out of the two works just fine. Its great and keeps a good charge. I have used it several times and seems to work just as long as the stock factory battery. However, the second battery didnt work when I got it. It seems to be swollen in the middle and wont fit into the camera nor will it accept a charge.

Tentative four-star rating
I purchased these right after getting my camera as a stop-gap when my original battery dies. So far, I have no complaints for the price--they seem to hold a decent charge for a decent amount of time, and are definitely cost-effective. Again, I only use them as back-ups to my original battery, and will probably update this review after they've seen heavy use under travel conditions.
