We love Asian dishes. So we have to have fish sauce. Great brand.

Saltier than expected but good product
Where my cooking fish oil is a mainstay. This brand was affordable and so I gave it a try. It was a little saltier than what I'm used to but I'm still pleased with the flavor and so I'm writing this review

I dont like fish but this wasnt bad.
My recipe called for Fish sauce. I was so afraid my meal would taste like fish and i dont like seafood. But i went ahead and followed the recipe. This sauce was just right. It was mixed with tamarind and soy sauce with brown sugar and the “fishy”taste was barely detectable. Whew! It smells fishy but didn't overwhelm my pad Thai sauce recipe. Im now a fan. But i still dont like fish.

Is salty, fishyish, a little goes a long way. Great as a compliment of 1 two in a dish it is called for. Go easy on it (do not measure over you pan, do it into measure spoon over sink!!) and its great!

BIG VALUE
I purchase a 6.7 oz bottle at Walmart for $ 4.89. The bottle I purchase on Amazon was right at $ 4.00, but I received just under 24 oz. for less money. Made by the same company. That is one good deal. I don't use this sauce too often, just for certain recipes. it will last forever.

Fantastic flavor additive for sauces and curries!
While some may use it straight as a wet dip, i find it adds a fantastic flavor enhancement to pad and curries. Have watched how its made, used in other dishes. Not a lot of odor fresh, decent slight fishy funk fresh flavor. Just don’t spill on your cloths. It dries and the funk reactivates with body heat.

Weak sauce, not worth it.
I had been buying fish sauce from a local store (local = within 60 miles radius). It was a particular brand that was naturally aged and not cheap. When covid hit, I started not going to stores, and so I decided to try this brand, from Amazon shopping, a try.If I had never tasted good fish sauce, I would still have thought that this sauce was watery and salty, with a minimum of the umami spike you want from fish sauce. Since I know what good fish sauce tastes like, I kinda knew it was bad. I tried using more, it was just too salty. Worse part is it trained me to use too much. I finally got to the store and bought some of the good stuff. It doesn't take as much. I used it like I used this stuff and it was just too much umami. It needs just a dash to give your dish a umami hit, and maybe this means it is not so expensive after all.I threw away the rest of this bottle. This sauce just wasn't worth it.
