I bought several different sizes. None fit well. This hat kinda floats on your head, because there is no elasticity and the hat just feels too shallow. My baseball caps fit way better because of the deeper cut. Also, the shipping cost is outrageous as well as the shipping time. It is a nice style, but just a horrible fit and like I said, I bought at least 3 of these in different sizes. Buy at your own risk.

This is this my first purchase from Sterkowski. I ordered my exact hat size, and I received a hat that was a perfect fit. When it comes to buying hats over the internet, getting a hat that fits can be a daunting task, but these guys really do a great job with all aspects of the process. Good hat, good fit, good experience, and I just ordered three more.

First of all, I really like how this hat looks. I have a large head and it's often difficult for me to find a hat that I like that actually fits. I followed the measuring chart, ordered a 3XL size 8, and it's perfect! Fits nicely without being too tight or too loose. I posted a pic on my FB page, got a lot of compliments, and a few people even asked where I got it because they wanted to get one too! I also like that this is a family owned and operated company; you can tell they take a lot of pride in their work!

After Reading the reviews and because I am an old guy and have some experience with how much 100% cotton shrinks when it is washed (1960's button up Levi blue jeans), I ordered the green Docker hat two sizes larger than what normally fits my head comfortably. After receiving the hat and trying it on I washed it in hot water, using laundry detergent, then dried it in a medium hot/hot dryer. As expected, and as desired, it shrank.It was a little snug at first, but after wearing it a few minutes it loosened up and fits perfectly. I was in the US Navy, our dress uniform hats were 100% white cotton, when we washed our white hats they always shrank, we'd have to hook them over one knee and tug on them with our hands, then hold them out in front of us with both hands and stretch them some more to get them to fit as they were supposed to. Be careful, they are sewn the same way the Docker hats are sewn, i.e. with panels and they can rip at the seams. You can do the same thing with these docker hats in my opinion. I did. If you want to wear a clean, sweat stain free hat and don't want to mess with playing around with water temperatures when and being afraid that it might shrink and not fit you anymore, buy the hat too big on purpose and shrink it down at the beginning and you wont have to worry about shrinkage after that. You might even buy the hat three times to big and wash the heck out of it and dry it as hot as your dryer will dry to shrink it down to size. After that, you be able to wash your stinking sweat stain hat and not worry about whether or not its going to shrink on you.

This product arrived looking like a paper chef's hat. Worst part is that you have to pay for return! This is not explicit when you buy it and you have to ship it to POLAND!
