Key still works in the bag. I keep my key in the bag in my trouser pocket connected securely to my belt by a chain. I can walk up to my car and just open the door and easily lock the car on leaving. The bag looks very stylish and protects the key (they're £500 to replace!)

Mines black. Not sure if other colours available. Probably not as I tend to prefer brown. Matches my upholstery though.
