The Republic of Tea — HiCAF Caramel Black Tea, 50 Tea Bags, High in Caffeine

The media could not be loaded.  Like so many of the REPUBLIC of TEA flavors, this HIGH CAF Cinnamon Toast Black Tea is a very enjoyable flavor any time of the day or night! (Yes, I'm one of those guys who can drink even high-caf tea just before bed and still sleep like a baby!)For those who may be less tolerant of caffeine just before bed... well, you might want to drink this sometime earlier in your day.I came upon this team when I wasn't really LOOKING for it, but I was happy to give it a try... As happens when I browse teas, I like that it sneaked up on me. WHAT A GREAT FLAVOR it is to add to our collection! We absolutely LOVE everything we've tried in the Republic of Tea line...-- No, we're not a restaurant; we are just a small family with a penchant for fine teas, and we like having every imaginable flavor of tea available whenever a guest is over. Goes something like this:- "Would you like some tea?"- "Sure, what flavors or kinds do you have?"- "Well, probably just about anything you can imagine. What flavor would most PLEASE you right now?"And we can almost ALWAYS satisfy any craving or ask, from any black to green to white... herbal, or blends like ginger, Indian chai and Korean ginseng, or even Christmas Cardamom. Now we have another which is sure to give folks a KICK if they need it, in HIGH CAF CINNAMON TOAST flavor. It's a delightful blend of SWEET, SPICY and STRONG... a sure hit for those who like a bit of variety in the teacup.Like some of our other aromatic flavors, when we serve a guest this one, if someone else smells it, we might hear "Oh, would you mind if I, too, had a cup of that lovely tea!?" It advertises itself quite well.And of course, as a host, we find REPUBLIC OF TEA teas have these wonderful feeling cans, filled with lovely little round pillows of delightful flavor and aroma. It might sound like I'm a Republic of Tea promoter or something, but no: just a HUGE FAN of these teas and the company's PACKAGING!!The sensory embrace when opening the can; the satisfying feeling of closure when placing the cap back on, knowing it seals well and the tea will remain FRESH, and of course the delightful FLAVOR of the tea itself... We just love everything about these teas!So, go ahead: Be BRAVE! Try this FULL CAF CINNAMON TOAST BLACK TEA and give your day a kick!!!

I love this tea! I drink a hot cup of it every morning at work. I do intermittent fasting and this gives me some flavor without breaking my fast so early. It has enough caffeine to get me going. I have stopped drinking my energy drink every morning and drinking this! It had just a hit of coconut flavor. Not too overpowering. It also smells amazing when it is steeping. I have used one tea bag twice in the same morning, then transition over to my water. I have also added it to my cold tea I for a hint of flavor. This coconut is my favorite. I have tried 3 of them.

Super yummy and lots of energy.

The flavor is wonderful, and the company is very environmentally friendly.

This tea works better at keeping me awake than coffee. I love the raspberry flavor!

Best tea I have ever had. Very robust. I made some one morning though and forgot about it. That night I was thirsty and grabbed to chilled tea and chugged it. Realized at 3 am why I still wasn’t tired. Hi caf is no joke!

Started drinking this with a little cream in the morning! Delicious every time.

I'm not a big fan of the taste (coconut) but it should probably be noted that I don't really like the taste of any tea or coffee but a couple bags of this stuff will have you up and sprinting in no time flat! It's a little more than I'm used to paying for a box of tea bags but it's still leaps and bounds cheaper than a couple trips to starbucks.

Ordered the cinnamon toast and it is ok but the name is misleading. It should be called Apple Cinnamon as there is a strong apple flavour I was not expecting from a tea labeled Cinnamon Toast. I'm not a fan of fruit teas so that surprised me. It's not bad though, since it's still black tea based which I prefer. Makes a good iced tea.

I was so looking forward to this. Unfortunately whatever is being used to give the tea the caramel flavor is so bad. It tastes like pepper. I had this happen with a caramel coffee I bought years ago, as well.On the bright side,the packaging is cute as hell, and I also got a different flavor that is really good.

This is a really good choice for the balance of fruit and black tea (can taste the fruit nicely, but doesn't taste like warm fruit juice). I can't say I noticed a difference with the caffeine levels though, which is probably a good thing...

Absolutely love this tea! Such a great alternative to coffee. I do wish there were more options available more often. I also agree with another reviewer, as long as the price remains as a good value, I will continue to buy!
