If I could give this item less than 1 star I would.. I used them today to get my feral cat that has been living in my home for 8 years into her carrier to take her to the vet. I just returned from the hospital and have a deeply bitten index finger and my cat was put to sleep. Thank goodness she had had her rabies shot, or I’d be facing that possibility as well. She easily bit through the glove and I have an infection, and a broken heart, because I trusted the reviews and Amazon. These gloves are useless and they misrepresented by saying they were for use with feral cats. I am appalled by Amazon. I shutter to think what would happen if you used them to handle a snake, as they suggested you could. I never write reviews, but everyone needs to know the truth. Amazon and the manufacturer should be libelous.

I was on the market for a durable pair of gloves. The gloves would mostly be used for everyday functions such as gardening and handling my over playful kitten.These gloves meet my needs. They're light in weight yet heavy-duty (my boyfriend put them to work on a few handyman projects he had going on in our home). Overall, I’m very impressed with the quality of the gloves and give them 5 stars.

These are not indestructible by any means, but we use them to play with our little psycho-terrier and they are perfect for that. He LOVES to play "bite the mommy" and with these gloves there is no risk of an actual bite wound. Probably not the best glove for a larger dog, though.

I bought these for my Husband to play with our Puppy but she ripped them within 2 hours of play.

These gloves are mularkey. I bought them for rodent handling. Something told me to test the gloves before handling a rodent. I put them on and the material didn't seem that solid or protective. So I decided to give my fingers a hard pinch through the gloves to simulate a bite and boy did I feel it. If these gloves cannot protect your fingers from a human pinch then how can they stand up to a rodent bite? They cannot!

These gloves have allowed my 10 pound dog to draw blood every time we wear them! I am an well-groomed who used heavy leather gloves to reach in cages after cage frightened dogs and never had an injury. They simply are not thick enough to protect from a serious bite. More useful against cat scratches in my opinion. I am buying kevlar enforced gloves next.

I bought this for our two cockatiels when they get their wings and nails clipped. It works great for them, but the shop pointed out that for larger parrots they would bite through them as there is no reinforcement between the index and the thumb area.

I bought these gloves because I work with animals, especially feline cats. I feel protected with these on and I do not have to worry while working. Fits great on me and great quality.
