The quality is excellent! Only thing I didn't like was the quart ...
Just what I was looking for! I have the huge one that I use for making rice for spanish parties and I was looking for the smaller one just for everyday use on making my rice. The quality is excellent! Only thing I didn't like was the quart size listed on the lid but as time goes on, I won't even notice it.In case you are wondering, this is the REAL spanish rice pot! Not that cheap "IMUSA" brand that bends when dropped. (Those are the ones they sell in walmart in a three pack)

Good Quality But The Streaks Are a Bummer
I just received the 5qt caldero today. It seems to be a solid, sturdy, good quality caldero but it has a lot to be desired aesthetically. After hand washing and oiling (to removes stickers on side and bottom of product) I was not able to remove streaks throughout the caldero and its lid (see photos) It seems like they were created during the pouring process of the cast aluminum so the streaks will be there permanently. I do not plan to return this caldero however as it seems to be of good quality (like the one my mom had when I grew up). I have not cooked with it yet so I will update this review accordingly.

Excellent for Rice
I bought this to make authentic arroz con gandules. Before I was just using a soup pot and it was ok but not great. This pot is super lightweight, real aluminum, easy to clean, and makes the most delicious rice! I don't know how I cooked without it! Highly recommend. Especially to create authentic Puerto Rican dishes and rice.

Cooked right, taste right, pegáo right.
Cooks rice as good as muy mom use to make it, and it makes rice crust as good and crunchy as i loved since i was a child. It's called Pegáo Puerto Rican left over rice treat. I can't complaint it's worth every penny.

This pot is not a 22 cup rice pot.
The pot is suppose to be a 22 cup rice pot. This rice pot will make about 5 cups.

Surprisingly good
It is not as think as I hoped it would be but I like it. Nothing like a magnalite but still a quality pot. No sticking when I made okra.
