Barefoot. with Sole, All-Weather Running Sandals (Men's 7, Women's 8) (Black)

I've finally had a chance to try them in the field. Hiking - 13 miles with a 21 lb backpack, without any special preparation, no problems. It was steap so I did feel tiny bit burning on the soles of my feet on the way back, downhill but that did not result in any serious or even visible chafing. I'm sure it would've caused problems eventually but that was the first time I've ever hiked in these sandals. No doubt the'll be fine given enough time for adaptation.Running - felt wonderful at first but I did get blisters after about 3 miles of HIIT. Like I said, with enough time for adaptation, I'm sure my feet will be fine even after much longer distances. I didn't feel any discomfort from the para-cord straps.BTW a single sandal Size 11 (men's) weighs 88 g or 3.1 oz

This is not as light nor as stable as I have made. Ok for casual wear if you adjust them carefully.

Great sandal, i've been wearing minimalist/barefoot shoes for about 11 months and these sandals are a staple in my collection. i was wearing the sandal from vivobarefoot but my puppy got a hold of them not once but twice and i decided to try these and i'm glad i did. i plan to buy another pair and everyone that sees me wearing them wants the info on them. these sandals are great for everything, i havent run in them but it's not why i bought them.

Sandal broke in just a month. The rubber bottom gave out where the hole is that the string threads through. I was disappointed because I loved the sandal. I’ve emailed them and have received no return email, although it’s omlh been a few days.

Good sole, cute fit but geez the straps really dig at your skin so I had to return.
