There are many AMP/DAC available around, lower, a little higher than this product. I put them in three catagories. Basic Amp. This will be Stereo read from PC USB - the onboard motherboard sound card is totally bypassed. This is great because they change digital to analogue much better than even high level onboard sound. Can't go wrong with this. No software, it simply makes the sound as intented, even with spatial elements, and it greatly increased the max volume. 2.DAC/AMPs, these have a DAC as above, but aditionally they provide various sound processing (DSP - 7.1 surround and more.) This processing is handled by software installed on PC and set by user. The problem is the software usually is useless. Too many obsucre options, and just doesn't work well unless you really know your stuff, and you choose a brand with software that does work if used correctly. 3. This item. A full DAC/AMP with software programmed as Firmware on the product itself. No PC silly complex software. There are not many of this type. So, this item is excellent in my opinion. You can use 7.1, Direct 2.0, 4 preset spatial profiles where you can change the reverb (how far away the sound seems to be.) That's a summary. But as a person who values sound this is way better than anything else in it's price range and even higher. The touch screen is beautifully done, and within 5 or 10 minutes of checking out different setting on device (with simple guide to explain) that's it. You will have louder sound. You will have much more accurate sound. And the main selling point is it actually does create the feeling of being surrounded by real speakers, and better, spatial sound which is horizontal and vertical. Note. It will improve any source, but poor quality sound has a limit to how well it can be enhanced. Also note, they will make even cheap headphones sound better, more like, "are these the same headphones?" But it is well worth getting a decent pair of well reviewed headphones, gaming or not, doesn't matter unless needing a fixed microphone. (any headphone can accept magnetic "stick on" mic - but it's another cost. I would say for gaming a good well known pair of medium price cans. (Check out Epos/Seinnhowser) or Hper X say, the alpha, or Different brand BlackShark V2. Just make sure the headphones which are pretty much all (gaming headphones) USB, have the ability to simply remove the USB adaptor and use the 3.5mm jack. ALL DACs AMPs use USB input from pc direct but you can not plug Usb into the dac/amp dirctly, that's not possible due to the digital/analogue conversions. Finally, with a decent, but not really expensive set of headphones that can be plugged in via 3.5mm jack (some companies are starting only provide USB, awful, but they know nothing can match even the cheapest DAC which always needs a 3.5mm, or the very old 6.4mm jack, adaptor usually in the box - a really bad trend as you can only connnect to your pc directly and use their software or built into headphone DSP - they can be decent, but no amplification of sound. Works with onboard sound to so they can provide better sound than cheaper headphones, but it's limited to the onboard, or vendor software on PC DSP. Oh and the software is a nightmare usually, avoid or fiddle around with it with poor results. That is usually the case with installed sound suite software. There are exceptions, but still, they dont add extra power that you get with a descrete DAC/AMP) Summary, for easy of use, and the best spatial/surround I've ever heard this item is a bargain. Highly recommended.

常駐ソフトなし、CS機非対応。余計なものを削ぎ落して音作りに特化させましたみたいな製品。 スピーカーとヘッドセットの切り替えがワンタッチで行えるので頻繁に切り替える方には向いてます。 他社製品はソフト必須だったり同時出力しかなかったりするようです。 ロジクールのバーチャルサラウンドヘッドセットからの乗り換えですが、 サラウンド感はかなりよくなりました。 リスニング用途としても音質はよい。ミュージックモードはドンシャリ好きならハマる。 スピーカーでも各モード使えますよ。 良いところは散々出尽くしていると思うので ここからは悪いところ。 サイドトーン(マイクモニタリング)の音量が小さい。 ヘッドセットではなく据え置きのECマイク使ってるせいかもしれませんが ほぼゼロ距離でないと満足のいく音量のサイドトーンになりませんでした。 が、これはマイクアンプAT-MA2を間に入れて解決しました。 ゲインを上げすぎなければおそらく大丈夫でしょうが、 メーカーは想定していないでしょうからマイクアンプ導入は自己責任でお願いします。 プロファイル機能がいらない。 設定項目が少ないのでわざわざプロファイルを作るほどでもないんですよね。 なのに4つもあって意図せず反応することが多く煩わしい。 トーナメントモードでプロファイルパネルを反応しないようにできますが、 そうすると頻繁に使う出力選択やサラウンドON/OFFなどの機能の選択まで止めてしまうジレンマ。 ヘッドホンの推奨インピーダンスが下がった？ 買った後で気が付いたのですが2nd Editionになってヘッドホンの推奨インピーダンスが 16 - 150 Ω から 16 - 50 Ωへ下がったようです。表記ミスでなければ。 K712PRO使用しているためヘッドホンアンプを追加しました。 私の場合はマイクアンプやヘッドホンアンプを追加してしまったので、 最初からAE-9あたりを買っておけばよかったかもしれない。 しかしながら、コレとそこそこヘッドセットさえあればPCオーディオ環境で不自由はしないと思います。 組み合わせるヘッドセットは同社のH6PROあたりがとても相性がよさそうに思います。 最小限の構成で高音質、シンプルで十分な機能性が欲しい方には、 GSX-1000 2nd とてもとてもオススメ。 一方で、マイクの選択肢を増やしたいだとかハイインピーダンスヘッドホンを使いたいなど、 拡張性やハイエンドな用途を考えている方には中途半端な製品かもしれません。AE-9を買いましょう。 あっちはあっちでソフトに問題ありそうではありますが。。

すごく音が聞き取りやすくなった。 fpsやるなら絶対使う方がいい。 その他のゲームでも音が良くて使いやすいし、 ヘッドセットマイクとスピーカーの切り替えが簡単にできるのがいい

他にも書いている方がおられますが、何故か本体にプラマークが印字されています。機能自体には特に問題ないように思いますが、少々がっかりしました。 また細かく音質を設定するためにEPOS gaming suiteをインストールしましたが開くことができませんでした。Windows10でないと起動できないようです。

画面がブラックアウトするようになる 音も別に良くない ゴミを高い金出して買うという感じ

めちゃくちゃ買ってよかった物

FPSなどの音が重要なゲームをやる際には必須に近いです。 問題は操作性で、タッチパネル式の切り替えがとにかくやりづらい。 感度の問題なのか間違って切り替わったり、切り替わらなかったり。 挙句に設定の上書きが同じ操作なので、勝手に設定上書きされる始末。 目的は果たせますが操作感は最悪です。
