Carton Caddy® Duo

When you get older, everything seems to slip out of your hands... and dropping a half gallon of milk is not something I want to clean up again!!! This is easy to get on/off and does exactly what it's supposed to. I had something like this many years ago to help my kids pour their own milk, now I need it for myself... still works BEAUTIFULLY - THANK YOU!

I have a carton holder, similar to the larger of the two of these, that I found in a thrift store for a dollar. I've used it for years, because my small hands can't get a good grip on a half-gallon carton.I bought these for my mother, who has arthritis in her hands. She's loving both of them. It seems like such a simple thing, but lifting by the handle, rather than gripping the carton, makes it so much easier, and it actually feels considerably lighter.

As others have noted, the larger, four-pillared unit holds a half-gallon milk, juice, or cream carton securely and makes pouring an easy task, especially if the user has issues with their hands. The smaller unit appears at first glance to be almost useless but it turned out to be completely functional. The secret is looking at the photo in the product listing and realizing which side goes up. The small ears hold the upper folds of a standard carton. I've tried to dislodge a full carton from the smaller holder and, while it can be done, it's not easy.

I like the solid feel of the handle on the one, but felt like the other should be a bit thicker for grasping. Purchased for holding qt. Liquid in my fridge as my hands are getting weaker as I age. So, happy to have found these. I did feel the price was a bit to high, but bought for the peace of mind.

THESE ARE LOVED ADORED AND WILL BE USED UNTIL I DIE. These things helped me in picking up the half-gallon cartons which BTW folks...buy your milk in the cartons. It lasts much longer. Really! The milkman actually told me this. So I did and he was absolutely right. So I pay a bit more for my milk but it lasts longer plus takes up less room. So back to these things, I had carpal tunnel surgery on both hands. Dr. never told me I would have issues with my thumbs becoming weak and painful. When I lifted the half-gallon cartons a pain would shoot through my hand. No more! Thanks to the inventor!

The arthritis in my hands makes it difficult to hold/pour from cardboard cartons, but I do not wish to buy milk in plastic cartons. I had handles like this a bazillion years ago (mmm 1970s? 80s?) and was delighted to find them available again. These arrived in very few days and I love them.The handle *without the base* fits (with the handle outward) an open carton stored with other 1/2 gallon containers that together fill that particular space on the fridge door. Be careful fitting the flange into the folded sides of the carton because of course there is no base to support the weight and the condensation is slippery. Test it over the counter to be sure that you have it adjusted properly. It will be dandy.The handle *with a base* does not fit (with the handle outward), but is still useful when that particular shelf has sufficient space to turn the carton with the handle sideways. Hard to describe - but I know you know what I mean.

I have used the tall holder and it is perfect for my 1/2 gallon milk cartons. I havent tried the other holder so I cant comment on that. I just got the holders this week. It is hard for me to stretch out my hand and grip a 1/2 gallon carton as I have carpal tunnel. Also some of the milk carton are very thin and flimsy. This works great and makes it so easy to grab from the fridge and pour the milk!!!!

I looked everywhere to replace my old milk carton holder without much success so decided to order this set.The large holder is convenient and sturdy. As the previous reviewer has noted, I'm not sure about using the smaller holder or what size carton it fits. Quite expensive, all in all.

Good gadgets. I don't have to worry about dropping the cartons now that I have a handle.

Bought this product because my wife is wearing a cast and has a hard time handling milk cartons with one hand. This is the ideal solution and works perfectly.Would’ve given it five stars if the price was more realistic.
