I live in South Florida and go to the beach 1 to 2 times per week. Since we have summer all year long I use my beach chair 1 to 2 times per week all year long. It's a really nice looking chair and was my favorite chair. Unfortunately after 9 months the plastic ripped on one side, as shown in the picture and I had to throw the chair away. I weigh 183 lbs, so maybe if you weigh less the chair will last longer. Of course on the flip side if you weigh more it will last less. Anyway assuming I used it 55 times for a whole day in that time period, it will be 0.80 cents per usage, so not too bad of an expense, given that the parking is 6 to 7 dollars alone. So I will probably order a new one of these again, knowing that their life span is limited.

I like these chairs. easy to use and comfy. I do think the price is rather steep

So far lounge chair seems to be very durable the color is nice and easy to clean. It's not real lightweight but that could be considered a good thing or a bad thing .

When I was a teenager in the 70s, everyone had these folding lounge chairs. Some were obviously higher quality and some were not. The lower quality ones probably cost about exactly the same amount as this item. They worked fine, they just didn't last as long and they rusted out faster. The racheting hinges were often the first to go, especially if a heavyweight person was using it. This item is like those lower quality chairs from the 70s. It also works fine, it just isn't that confidence inspiring and the hinges are rather lightweight. I am babying it, keeping it in the garage out of the weather, and hope to get many years out of it.

i love this chair. its just like i had when i was a kid. seems a little pricey for what it is though

Great old-school tanning chair, but not as large or sturdy as they were back in the day. It's lightweight and easy to carry, but that also means not as comfy or sturdy. Chair feels kind of flimsy when folded out; it's probably best for smaller adults.

This chair is everything I thought it would be. Great for laying down and tanning.
