The media could not be loaded. Unfortunately, the price of this fan has increased quite a bit in the last month since I received mine. That will make me hesitant to purchase another. But, the one I do have is great. I installed it in my shed to keep the hot air from building up. Added louvered vents on the opposite side of the fan and then connected the fan to a 100w solar panel. It still runs on over cast days and starts spinning early in the morning and late into the evening. It is listed as being quiet but not when it is in full sun. This thing sings like a jet engine at full power. It's not a bad sound but you can tell it is running from across the yard. If it were in an attic you would probably never notice but if you're in the room with it you will know. Feels sturdy and solid. Short leads but that is not a big deal.

I bought this for my chicken coop, used it hooked to a older 90w solar panel, had an issue and customer service went the extra mile to make it right.

We already use an Amtrak solar fan in our greenhouse, so we knew to expect a powerful, reliable fan. I thought this was the same fan and was thrilled to get it at this price. It’s actually a little smaller. It is powerful and pulls fresh air into our 500sqft greenhouse to help us maintain the temperature in summer. This was a great purchase. It doesn’t come with a cover/vent. It’s the fan only. It has only the short leads to connect to cables to the solar panel. I will buy Amtrak over and over.

This fan is made of heavy duty plastic, and is quite able to stand some abuse, such as me dropping it two stories onto a driveway, and it still worked like nothing happened. I received the wrong size initially, but the fan works so well, i kept it for a future project. I have it connected to a 30 watt solar panel, that runs it like a jet engine while the sun is out. It does run in the shade, but not nearly as fast, of course. I recommend this to anyone that wants to ventilate their attic, or a barn, or whatever it may be.

Simple install for my shed. Needed to keep the temp down and airflow inside to protect my stuff. Really happy with this product.
