This is an EXCELLENT series for young children interested in mermaids. My daughter looked forward to reading a few chapters each night! The books have pictures every few pages, so it keeps younger kids interested. We LOVE this series and were sad to finish it!

Fabulous books! My 4 year old absolutely loves being read to from them. The magical world of being a secret mermaid is inviting and exciting for young minds. It's fun because as a child my daughter can pretend she's like the secret mermaid. Molly, the main character, is a young girl who turns into a mermaid at night. The stories are fun and entertaining and each chapter ends with a slight cliff-hanger. We've just finished all 12 books and I'm sure we'll read them again soon!

my girls (7 & 9) love these series, and having books they enjoy so much really helped them get into reading properly.

March 2020 before Covid-19, we were vacationing at the beach and my then 5-year old granddaughter selected one of the books from this series to bring home as a souvenir. After reading the first book together she wanted more. I found this series and ordered the collection. Throughout the year, I've given her a new book from the collection every few weeks, (Easter, Birthday, Halloween, Christmas, etc.). It's been fun and we've loved our time together reading about Molly and her mermaid adventures. This series has given us many hours of enjoyment. Thank you.

Very cute story. Good to read to/with my struggling 1st grader. Illustration are fun and the cliffhangers keep us wanting more. A few British words and spelling throw us off but other than that a very fun book series full of adventure, friendship and mystery!

My oldest granddaughter read the whole series for reading assignments when she was in in the 3rd grade. I even bought a conch shell to enhance the experience. Now on book "one" with my next 3rd grade granddaughter. Great fun.

My seven year old is obsessed with these books. These are the first books that she doesn't want to put down. The first six books are AR (book level 4.6-5.3, 1 point) but I like that the content is appropriate for my young reader. The books have around 10 chapters each and are about 75 pages. I cannot recommend this set enough and I know my daughter would agree!
