Outstanding quality, great precision
I'm very satisfied with this Bergeon watch tool. The grip is excellent—comfortable and secure in the hand. It has a solid weight to it, which actually helps with precise work and makes it feel like a truly professional-grade tool, not a cheap lightweight alternative. The tips fit well and work exactly as expected. Overall, you can really feel the high quality in every detail. I highly recommend it to anyone who takes watch work seriously.

As soon as you pick it up you will know it's a quality tool
I've tried dozens of spring band tools and this is the one you want. Whether you are a watch repairman of a do it your selfer this is the last one you will buy. Simply a fantastic spring bar tool. As soon as you pick it up you will feel the weight of it and how solid it is and you will know it's a quality tool. It has a very fine tip on the end that fits perfectly into the detent of the spring bar. It makes removing the band so much easier. Most of the tools have a big wide fork on the end that is to fat and not long enough to get to the spring bar without hitting back of the watch or being to large to get into the space between the band and the back. This tool is swiss made and has a very fine precision fork on the end to match the precision of swiss made parts and it's worth every penny. Can't say a negative thing about it.

The tips does need some screwing from time to time, but works
Just replaced my chronomat watch strap. Tip looks high quality and it has a great grip feel.

Almost perfect
Excellent quality however tips may come loose a bit, I used a bit of thread lock glue to keep them in place and haven't had an issue since. Minus one star just because they kept coming loose before that, otherwise the best you can buy!

Worth The Investment
My father always told me to, "buy once, cry once" when it came to selecting quality tools and this spring bar tool is a perfect example of this. Yes, you can purchase the an identical-looking tool for a few dollars here on Amazon but they are made of inferior steel and will do more damage than good. With proper care this will last a lifetime and is well worth the investment.

Bergeron sprung bar tool.
You get what you pay for. I have had many different brands, but Bergeron tools are about the best when it comes to watches, whether it is for professional or just as a hobbyist. Highly recommend.

Professional grade tool
Went to have a watch band replaced at a local shop and they charged me $20. I got this tool for $20. If you have a watch collection and plan to swap bands from time to time get this tool and watch a YouTube video. It's not hard. This is a professional grade tool. Sure, there's cheaper ones, but I feel like if you're concerned about caring for your expensive timepiece you might as well spend a little more for a high grade tool. I mean, we're talking $7 vs $20.

While this tool is pricey, it is made of good quality. I have been using it for half a dozen times and the tip shows no sign of wear. As a tool it does the job well making the purchase worthwhile.

Overconfident with this tool, ended up broken the tip and scratched my watch case.

I was sceptical at first about this. I have been using the cheap Chinese ones but after my last one fell apart I thought I would push the boat out and get a more expensive one. I don't regret it ! It's a quality tool very well made and solid it's a lot heavier than the cheap ones which is a good thing which makes it a lot easier to use. Yes it is three times plus more expensive then the cheapest but you won't regret it, I can see this lasting years.
