B+L CV90021 12v 200w low voltage transformer

This 200w low voltage transformer with center mount replaced a center mount 150w low voltage transformer that came with our George Kovac monorail with 5 pendant lights w/25 wt halogen bulbs in each.. When some of the 25wt bulbs blew, we couldn't get 25 wt replacement bulbs at our local big box store so we went with 35 wt replacements which 4 yrs later ended up blowing the original transformer. So thrilled we can now, with this new transformer, replace all the bulbs with 35wts bulbs without fear of blowing our new transformer. Very easy to install as it was a perfect trade out in size and configuration.

During that time, it worked perfectly, but almost exactly 2 months after being out into service, it failed completely. This was a replacement for an identical transformer, installed i doors, at normal (60-70F) temperatures. Very disappointed.

Used this transformer for a set of IKEA lights with several bulbs. This 200 W transformer does not hum and works great on an electronic dimmer.

Replaced a transform for a set of track lights with this. It just fit inside the housing. The old transforms would buzz loudly when dimmed but this transformer is extremely silent and will dim much lower. I'm running 4x40w lights. So far so good...

Works well, compact size, no buzzing.

Works perfectly. I had to replace the transformer from my Ikea lights and I needed a 200w dimmable transformer. Works exactly as advertised and fit neatly into the original Ikea transformer housing. And was very easy to install.
