True Drivers' Gloves Come at a Price - and these are IT!
After reading the reviews of this product, I decided to put aside my parsimonious tendencies and jump in head first. I just bought a new sports car with a manual transmission (after 13 years of driving an SUV) and wanted a pair of gloves that fit the image and gave me a feel for the wheel and stick. I went to a couple of department stores (which shall remain nameless) but after talking with useless salespeople and looking at racks of gloves that clearly were not designed for driving, I went back to the old, trusted Amazon and typed in "leather driving gloves." These had the best reviews of all the ones I'd narrowed the list down to - and now I can see why. First, the packaging: A velour drawstring bag holds your gloves! Nice touch. The gloves themselves are beautiful. Soft leather with knuckle holes and a button (do NOT get velcro!) snap closure. As for sizing, I measured an 8 ½ and bought a 9, and they fit just fine. I imagine in the warmer months, should I choose to wear these, I'll be happy for the bit of extra room. Very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend them for a connoisseur of fine clothing and accessories.

Driving Gloves
These gloves are "top of the line" gloves. I spent hours on the internet looking at thousands of gloves. I gave them as a gift and he absolutely LOVES them!! They are hand made in Italy with top grade leather. They arrived in a beautiful velvet bag. They were expensive but worth every penny. I wasn't looking for some cheap gloves, I wanted quality. One thing that made me a little nervous at first is the fact that they don't come in half sizes and I was looking for a 9 1/2 glove. In the AD it said if you wear a half size, to go up to the next whole number ...which I did and I ordered a size 10. As it turned out they were a perfect fit!!I bought black so I can't comment on the other colors they came in. I would highly recommend these gloves....Fratelli Orsini has a great reputation too.

Just amazing!
These are simply the best pair of gloves I've owned and worth every penny! I'm highly considering to purchase a second pair and third pair for myself because they are just that good.A few things to note:1) These are driving gloves not winter gloves. The ventilation holes provide great breathablitily but do little to protect you from the cold. I just keep this pair in the car and use another pair when I'm outside.2) Like all clothing, they will stretch slightly with use, but not enough to interfere with it's function. Just make sure to take proper measurements before you order.3) Since they are made from real leather (which is essentially skin), you can use them to operate your cell phone. It will be a bit cumbersome though. (Please note that I am NOT advocating operation of a cell phone (or any such device) while driving by this comment)4) I love the style of these gloves. I'm fan of the Transporter movies and I must confess, I did buy these because they look similar to the one's that Jason Statham wears in the movies. Lol.All in all, I would definitely recommend these gloves for yourself or as a gift to someone you love.

Great Glove
This is my second pair. I put 22,000 miles on my first pair, before I wore through a thumb on my shifting hand. Perfect for a leather wrapped steering wheel, as it eliminates the gunk that can build up from skin oils. After break-in, my first pair didn't fit as snug in the wrist as I liked, so I had a shoe repair shop add another snap next to the original one. Problem solved.Don't let a lack of lining dissuade you. The deer-skin is soft enough that a lining is not necessary, allowing these to breathe and eliminate any over-heating problem.Be prepared for the strange patch of tanned skin on the back of your hands, though. ;-)A very high-quality, exceedingly comfortable glove.

Awesome glove! I wish there is a wrist size option along side the palm width sizing.
This is a great product! I love the feel and fit of the glove except for the buttoned strap for the wrist. I hope there is an option for a wrist size other than the palm size. (If that is possible). Bought the size 8 glove however my wrists are 6 inches in circumferences. So, the straps were a bit large for my hand. Hence, the glove rides up when driving. It is not a big of a deal but it somehow affects the fit and feel of the whole glove especially at the fingers.

I bought the size 8s and they are beyond perfect. They fit "Like a Glooove" as Ace Ventura Pet Detective would say!The Quality... Like Ferrari Leather...I'm buying a few more pair as spares. The cost...WORTH IT!

Incredible Gloves.
The leather used for these gloves is hands down the softest you will ever have. Note that dark brown is quite dark and it would be better if it were just slightly lighter. As well, the seams are thick. not enough for me to send them back, but enough to be a slight annoyance. But honestly, I'm someone who likes good leather and this is exceeded my expectations by far. The only way you will have better gloves is if you have them custom made for you. Don't spend $200 on gloves, at that point they aren't worth it unless custom made.I recommend the dark brown if you want something slightly rugged yet still somewhat elegant. I'd also say if you're going for black and really want them to be a 'gentleman's glove' skip these and get the deerskin ones Fratelli offers. They have a different patina which lends itself to that effect.

Like a Second Skin
These are incredibly comfortable, well fitting gloves. Expensive, but they fit like a second skin and give great road feel while driving. The leather has a great grip and the close fit ensures that you don't develop hand fatigue. Thin enough to fold and place in a pocket if needed. As a bonus, the packaging is a velvet drawstring bag which makes a great place to store the gloves when not in use.
