Works well with Gitzo Heads
I purchased this extra quick release plate to use with a 70-200mm lens. You would need a separate QR plate for each telephoto lens that has their own tripod mount. It is a simple item, is compatible with my Gitzo ball head, and works well. Remember that the QR plates should be from the same manufacturer as the head.

Purchased this GS5370MC plate for use with the GH1720QR 2-way head and Nikkor 500mm PF lens.Have not installed it but it should fit because the channel for the screw(s) is longer than 3cm, which is what i measured the distance between the 2 attachment points on the lens tripod foot to be.[Update on 13-5-2021: Plate works perfectly. ]Shipping was very fast. Order to receipt of item took only 6 days.Happy with purchase.
